Abstract

The clamping device contains a housing which has a frustoconical hollow through-space in which at least two clamping elements and a spring are arranged. Arranged on the outer surface of the housing (1) are extensions (3) which have openings (4) for inserting pivots (5) to which one rocking lever (6) each is fastened. One end of the respective rocking lever is free and its other end interacts with a clamping element (8). Rod elements with low longitudinal rigidity can be sunk into the ground by means of this clamping device. In addition, it guarantees automatic adjustment of the sinking appliance without additional load-lifting gear having to be used.
