Abstract

A hydraulic pump or motor suitable for a wide range of applications and with an oval body (4) inside which a flexible tube (2) is squeezed by a pair of rotating rollers (3) against a figure of eight block inside the flexible tube so that liquid is forced in and out of the gaps (1) between the block and the tube through ports (9) at the top and via a rotating gate (10) through discharge and entry port, has the tube, rollers and block contained between a bottom (5) and a top (11) disc. These disc s have bosses to assist location and give a good sealing action.
