Abstract
Improvements in the construction of disc brakes, of the type in which the shoes, mounted in radially extended openings and arranged in a fixed U-shaped support that encompasses the disc, are driven by the latter using a floating caliper, also located in said openings and maintained by axially extended keys against which it is applied elastically by means of an elastic device that acts between said gauge and the fixed support, characterized in that the fixed support comprises a substantially flat support plate provided with a peripheral edge in the vicinity of the periphery of the disc, interrupted by one of said radial openings, and two members with an L-shaped cross section connected to said peripheral edge, one of the branches of the L extending parallel to said plate and the other substantially at right angles to the same.
