Abstract
It is composed of: transportation means 1 of adjustable speed a drying chamber 2 with internal deflectors 3 a central unit located in the transverse axis of symmetry in which a totally renewed inlet of air 5 is produced, said unit incorporating in-line fans (ventilators) 6, a bed of electrical resistance elements 7, a deflector 8 which divides the circulation of the air into two opposite directions and an array of photoelectric cells 9 for counting fruit and evaluating production and programmable computer equipment which, by means of specific software, operates the dryer under optimum conditions through automatic regulation of the speed of the fans 6, the power of the resistance elements 7 and the speed of advance of the conveyor 1. For functional harmonization of the system, use is made of an optimization tensioner formed by a library of files which, starting from current working conditions, determines which are the optimum conditions and adjusts the functioning of the elements which set said conditions up until the appropriate work rhythm has been established.
