SE ADMINISTRAN FACTORES DE CRECIMIENTO Y/O FACTORES ANGIOGENICOS EN COMBINACION CON LAS CELULAS DISOCIADAS A TRASPLANTAR, PREFERENTEMENTE EN MICROESFERAS CON LAS CELULAS ENCIMA O EN UNA MATRIZ POLIMERICA, PARA AUMENTAR LA SUPERVIVENCIA Y PROLIFERACION DE LAS CELULAS TRASPLANTADAS. LOS EJEMPLOS DEMUESTRAN QUE EL FACTOR DE CRECIMIENTO EPIDERMAL (EGF) SE INCORPORO EN MICROESFERAS FABRICADAS A PARTIR DE UN COPOLIMERO DE ACIDO LACTICO O GLICOLICO UTILIZANDO UNA TECNICA DE DOBLE EMULSION, EL EGF INCORPORADO SE LIBERO DE FORMA REGULAR TRAS HABER ESTADO UN MES IN VITRO Y PERMANECIO BIOLOGICAMENTE ACTIVO, PUES SEGUIA TENIENDO SU CAPACIDAD DE ESTIMULAR LA SINTESIS DE ADN, DIVISION Y SUPERVIVENCIA A LARGO PLAZO DE HEPATOCITOS CULTIVADOS.
