Description
The invention relates to a floor pan of a vehicle, in particular an armored military vehicle, with a lateral bottom wall, which is connected via a connection point with a second bottom wall.
Military vehicles often have an armored vehicle tub, in which the crew compartment of the vehicle is arranged. The lower end of the vehicle trough can be formed by the floor pan, in particular with a V-shaped or U-shaped cross section. It can also be arranged under the vehicle trough an additional floor pan.
Each wall of this floor pan can be considered as a bottom wall, so that the floor pan with a V-shaped cross-section two lateral bottom walls and in a U-shaped cross section comprises two lateral bottom walls and a lower bottom wall. The connection of the bottom walls takes place in particular by welding. The vehicle trough and / or the floor pan often consists of armor steel plates, so that in particular in the region of the side walls of the vehicle trough and a ballistic protection is given.
A particular threat is mine explosions or other blast effects that act from below or the side of the floor pan. For this reason, it is known to reinforce the floor pan with additional protective plates. However, these can not be made arbitrarily strong, since the mobility of the vehicle and the transportability of the vehicle should be limited only as much as necessary.
The invention has the object, the bottom tray of a vehicle taking into account the vehicle transport ability better against Blasteinwirkungen too protect.
The invention solves the problem with the features of the independent claim. Advantageous developments are part of the dependent claims.
In the solution according to the invention an additional armor for mine protection, in particular an armor plate, releasably secured to a side bottom wall of the bottom pan, which at least partially covers the adjoining the side bottom wall second bottom wall and the intermediate connection point. Depending on the cross-sectional profile of the floor pan, the second floor wall may represent a lower floor wall or another lateral floor wall of the floor pan.
The attachment of the additional armor can be achieved via fasteners. For example, the additional armor may have a bore through which a screw is guided, which can be screwed into a arranged on the side bottom wall threaded stud.
An advantage of an additional armor detachably attached to the side bottom wall is that it can be retrofitted to older vehicles, and is detachable for reasons of weight reduction, for example when transporting the vehicle in trains or aircraft, so that maximum permissible weights and loading dimensions are maintained can.
It has also been shown that the junctions between the side bottom wall and the second bottom wall constitute a weak point of the bottom trough during a blast action, for example during a mine explosion. For this reason, the additional armor is designed such that the connection point and a part of the adjoining second bottom wall are at least partially covered by it.
Particularly preferably, the additional armor is not connected to the second bottom wall, in particular a lower bottom wall. In particular, a weld between additional armor and second bottom wall should be avoided. Furthermore, no screwing the additional armor should be done with the second bottom wall, so that the lower bottom wall, which is naturally most exposed to a mine explosion effect, as homogeneous and uneven as possible designed.
In most cases, the lateral bottom wall is at an angle to the second bottom wall. In this case, the additional armor can be designed bent or angled in the region of the junction. Advantageously, the additional armor runs in the region of the lateral bottom wall parallel to the lateral bottom wall, and in the region of the second bottom wall parallel to the second bottom wall.
The lateral bottom wall may be welded to the second bottom wall, in which case the additional armor covers the weld at least partially, in particular completely.
The side additional protection module can in this case be designed such that the additional protective layer does not cover the connection point, at least in partial areas. Namely, the additional protective layer serves, in particular, to protect the lateral bottom wall, so that it is sufficient for the protection of the connection point if only the outer auxiliary armor covers the connection point like a clamp.
Particularly preferably, an intermediate bottom wall spaced from the bottom wall is arranged in the bottom trough. This can represent the vehicle interior floor. The spacing results in a decoupling of the vehicle interior floor from the tub floor, so that an improved mine protection is given.
An increased protection can be further achieved by the fact that on the second, in particular lower, bottom wall also a second, in particular lower, additional protection module is arranged, which may be constructed in particular multi-layered.
Preferably, the second additional protection module is releasably attached to the second bottom wall, preferably screwed to maintain the modularity of the additional protection. In order to keep the second bottom wall, in particular the lower tank bottom, as unobstructed as possible, the second bottom wall and the additional protection module can be extended in the region of the fastening forming a projection beyond the connection point between the second bottom wall and the first, lateral bottom wall this advantage lies. The attachment of the second additional protection module on the second bottom wall thus takes place in this projection and therefore in a non-critical area. Preferably, the additional armor of the lateral bottom wall has a recess through which the projection of the second bottom wall and the additional protection module can extend.
Particularly preferably, the attachment of the additional armor on the lateral bottom wall is effected by a screw connection, since this makes it possible to quickly and detach the additional armor to the vehicle floor pan. The screw connection may in this case include a damping element, for example an elastic ring or a bellows sleeve, in particular of metal. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, an additional armor is arranged on two opposite lateral bottom walls of the vehicle floor pan, which are connected to each other via at least one extending over the lower bottom wall bracket. Such mine guard can be constructed by extending the end portions of the lower bottom wall covering additional armor to each other and then connected together, resulting in one or more closed strap and the protective capability is increased.
An additional armor according to the invention for a floor pan of a vehicle, in particular an armored military vehicle, is thus constructed such that it is provided with a fastening means for attachment to a side bottom wall of the floor pan, through which a junction between a side bottom wall and a second adjacent thereto Bottom wall is at least partially coverable. In a simple case, the attachment means of the additional armor represents a bore through which a screw can be passed.
In a further, not covered by the claims solution, an additional protection module is releasably secured to a lower bottom wall, in particular screwed, wherein the lower bottom wall and the additional protection module in the attachment a projection extending beyond the junction between lower bottom wall and side bottom wall are extended with the attachment point in this Projection is located. As a result, the second bottom wall, in particular the lower tank bottom, can be kept as tight as possible.
Preferably, an additional armor for mine protection, in particular an armor plate, is releasably secured to the side bottom wall, which has a recess through which the projection extends therethrough. The lower additional protection module is preferably multi-layered.
Incidentally, the embodiments described in connection with the invention can also be used in the further solution. The two solutions can thus be combined with each other as desired.

The
Possible weak points of the floor pan are the connection points 9 between the
The
By the
The lateral
It is noted that the invention is not limited to the additional arrangement of the floor pan below the vehicle trough. As a floor pan within the meaning of the invention, the lower end of the
The invention can be used in an analogous manner even with V-shaped bottom trays.
