Terrassengeländer und Treppengeländer werden meist seitlich befestigt. Um die Ästhetik eines rahmenlosen Glases optimal ausnützen zu können, wird versucht den Rahmenteil, der meist aus Metall, d.h. Claims (7)

  1. Fastening arrangement for glass balustrades for balconies (41), terraces and steps, comprising a receiving profile (1) with two limbs (3, 5) and base plate (7) connecting the limbs (3, 5) underneath, to receive and fasten the bottom edge of a safety glass plate (39) and means to secure the receiving profile (1) on a balcony, a terrace or steps (41), characterised in that on at least one of the outer surfaces (9, 11, 7) of the receiving profile (1) a multiplicity of dovetail or T grooves (13), running parallel to each other, are embedded, that the fastening arrangement also comprises, as means for fastening the receiving profile (1), fastening elements (27), on which the elements which can be inserted in the dovetail or T-shaped grooves, adapted to the cross-sections of the dovetail or T-shaped grooves, are formed, such that each fastening element (27) can be inserted at any point into the grooves (13) on the receiving profile (1), so that the position of the receiving profile (1) can be adapted to the shape of the structure (41).
  2. Fastening arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that the receiving profile (1) has a U-shaped cross-section, wherein the outer surfaces (9, 11) of the two limbs (3, 5) pointing upwards lie parallel to each other, and that the inner surfaces of the limbs (3, 5) extend in a V-shape.

Fastening arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that one or more of the grooves (13) are made as threaded channels (37) for driving a screw in, and with this screw the fastening element (27) is secured at the previously determined position on the receiving profile (1).
  5. Fastening arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the fastening elements (27) are made L-shaped or in the shape of a square tube, and the L-shaped fastening elements (27) comprise a fastening limb (29) and a connecting limb (31), wherein on the fastening limb (29) at least one hole (33) is made for feeding through a fastening screw (35) for fastening the fastening element (27) on a building wall (41).
  6. Fastening arrangement according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that in the area of the top edge of the limb (3, 5) on the receiving profile (1), ribs or projections are formed on their inner surfaces, over which sealant or a bonding and sealing compound can be introduced.
  7. Fastening arrangement according to any one of claims 2 to 6, characterised in that on the top edges (17, 19) of the limbs (3, 5) outwardly projecting sections are formed, on which blinds (25) can be snapped in place.
