Description

Auf der Oberfläche der Fase ist ebenfalls eine Dekorschicht aus Papier aufgebracht, alternativ ist die Fase lackiert oder bedruckt, vorzugsweise in Farbe der Dekorschicht. Nachträglich wird die so behandelte Fase mit Melamin beschichtet oder imprägniert, wodurch die gewünschte Beständigkeit gegen Wasser oder mechanischem Abrieb erzielt wird. Diese Beschichtung der Verriegelungselemente und ggf der Fase dient gleichzeitig als Versiegelung des Holzwerkstoffes gegen mechanische Belastung und Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit oder Fremdkörpern. Die aufgetragene Lackschicht oder der Druck weist alternativ eine der Dekorschicht angenäherte Farbgebung auf, so dass eine möglichst gleichmäßige Farbgebung der Oberfläche im verlegten Zustand erreicht wird. Alternativ können auf Grund ästhetischer Vorlieben kontrastierende Farbgebungen vorgesehen sein, so dass die zwischen zwei Paneelen entstehende, V-förmige Stossfuge hervorgehoben wird. Eine farbliche Gestaltung ist insbesondere dann vorteilhaft, wenn die Trägerplatte der Dekorschicht aus einem Faserwerkstoff hergestellt wurde, die im allgemeinen eine farblich weniger ansprechende Gestaltung aufweisen. Sofern andere Holzwerkstoffe verwendet werden, beispielsweise bei der Verwendung von Spanplatten oder OSB-Platten, können auf eine Dekorschicht verzichtet werden, üblicherweise werden jedoch Klarsichtfolien oder durchsichtige Schutzschichten auf die Oberflächen solcher Werkstoffe aufgepresst, um einen Oberflächenschutz zu gewährleisten.In a further development it is provided that a decorative layer is applied to the top of the panel, which preferably consists of a melamineträhkten paper layer.
