- flexibles Walzen von endlosem Bandmaterial mit in Längsrichtung des Bandmaterials variabler, durchgehend gegenüber der Ausgangsdicke reduzierter Enddicke,
- Umformen des Bandmaterials zu einem endlosen Rohr oder Profil,
- Ablängen einzelner Rohr- oder Profilstücke vom endlosen Rohr oder Profil,
- flexible rolling of endless strip material with variable in the longitudinal direction of the strip material, continuously reduced compared to the initial thickness final thickness,

Anlagen zum Rundbiegen zu einem Rohr in Längsrichtung des Bandmaterials bzw. zum Umformen zu einem Profil in Längsrichtung des Bandmaterials mit entsprechender Walzenanordnung mit formgebenden Walzen sind in der Technik bekannt. Solche Anlagen umfassen eine Vielzahl von in Produktionsrichtung hintereinanderliegenden Formwalzen mit sich regelmäßig ändernder Walzenform und/oder Achslage.
Bei den Rohren und Profilen kann es sich um im Querschnitt offene Schlitzrohre oder Profile oder im Querschnitt geschlossene Rohre oder Profile handeln. In bevorzugter Verfahrensführung wird das endlose Rohr oder Profil zum geschlossen Rohr oder Profil längs - insbesondere in stumpfem Stoß - verschweißt.
