Description

The invention relates to a device for delivering an active substance into the rinsing water, in particular in toilet bowl, according to the preamble of claim 1.

EP 0 785 315 A beschreibt auch eine Vorrichtung mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Anspruchs 1.EP 0 53 89 57 B1 describes a device of the aforementioned type and indicates a directed with the container opening downwards container, which in the container opening contains a liquid-permeable closure for controlled Delivery of the drug to an underlying porous mass. With such Although device can be the delivery or dosage of the active ingredient by controlling the liquid-permeable closure seated in the container opening. The porous mass absorbs the released active substance and holds it after completion of a Rinsing process, whereby the release of active ingredient is guaranteed to the room air. The dosage of the drug is in this device exclusively by the achieved in the container opening used liquid-permeable closure. The disadvantage is the provision of a comparatively expensive porous mass connected with the fact that the porous mass itself is not for control or distribution of the active ingredient can be used in the toilet bowl, as a result, as an additional Element is to provide the liquid-permeable closure. EP 0 785 315 A also describes a device with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Um diesem Nachteil entgegen zu wirken, wird bei der bekannten Vorrichtung ein Zwischenträger vorgesehen, der sich in die Fallbahn des Wirkstoffes erstreckt und den Wirkstoff zusammen mit dem Spülwasser in das Toilettenbecken unter Vermeidung der vorher genannten Wirkstoffspuren abgibt.DE 197 20 393 A1 describes a device for dispensing active ingredients which of the upside down with the container opening drug container the Drops drug drop-shaped, so that in the toilet bowl at the impact of the Substance leaves traces that are partially undesirable. To this Disadvantage counteracts, in the known device an intermediate carrier provided, which extends into the trajectory of the drug and the active ingredient together with the rinse water in the toilet bowl while avoiding the before gives off the mentioned traces of active substance.

The invention is based on the object, a device of the aforementioned Art to improve such that the delivery of the active ingredient through the distribution device can only be controlled with a simple and inexpensive construction of Device itself.

This object is achieved by the specified in claim 1 Characteristics solved.

Further embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

The invention provides a device for delivering an active ingredient in the rinse water a toilet bowl and in particular a dispenser in which a liquid Active substance which is arranged in a container both during the rinsing process is delivered to the rinse water as well as after the rinsing on a this provided surface of the distribution device remains and thereby odor improving acts in the room of the toilet bowl.

The device provided in the Verteilereinrichtug is essentially by defined mutually crossed grooves. A first group of grooves causes the delivery the preferably liquid active substance from the distributor device to the outside towards the toilet bowl and a second set of grooves causes the Distribution of the liquid active substance within the distributor device. The second Group of grooves preferably has a larger open cross section and causes an appropriate distribution of the active substance within the distributor device too the outgoing grooves.

These grooves or channels are preferably provided parallel to each other per group. The grooves of the two groove groups intersect within the manifold, ensuring a targeted and satisfactory distribution of the active ingredient is guaranteed to the outside.

The two groove groups act much like capillary tubes, that is, the liquid Active substance is subtracted from the outside over the first groove group either by the within the toilet bowl and over the distribution device running rinse water or by the automatic evaporation of the liquid substance outside of the individual rinses. By appropriate design of the cross section of the individual Grooves can be a targeted dosage or a targeted delivery of the liquid Active substance in the toilet bowl both during and outside the rinsing to ensure.

The device according to the invention for dispensing active ingredients is explosive in FIG Representation shown and consists of a container 1, preferably made of a transparent plastic of any shape, one of two essentially plate-shaped elements 2, 3 composite distributor device 4 and optionally a frame 5 for receiving, in particular, the distributor device 4.

The container 1 is at its in Fig. 1 downwardly facing side with an opening 7 provided. Before use, the opening 7 of the container 1 from the inside by a membrane 8 or the like to prevent leakage of the liquid Active ingredient of the container 1 closed. By placing the container 1 on the Device in the manner to be described, the membrane 8 or the like opened by a mandrel 9 or the like.

The device according to the invention has a distribution device for the release of active ingredient a structure consisting essentially of plate-shaped elements 2, 3 on, wherein each element 2, 3 is preferably made of plastic and in predetermined Way is provided with grooves, channels or the like.

According to a preferred embodiment, the distributor device consists of a first lower plate 3 and a second upper plate 2 resting thereon.

According to the invention, between the two is preferably made of plastic plate-shaped elements 2, 3 defined by grooves, channels or the like Structure formed so that these grooves, channels, etc. with the container open 1, the liquid active substance from the container 1 via the distributor device 4 in the Toilet bowl or can be discharged into the rinse water.

In principle, it is only essential that these grooves between the two plate-shaped Elements 2, 3 are formed, i. the grooves can be both at the bottom of the element 2, also on the top of the element 3 or on the underside of the element 2 and on the upper side of the element 3, wherein in the latter case, the mutually associated groove sections communicate with each other, i.e. run in congruent arrangement.

In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the first group of grooves or Channels denoted by 11 and extends according to Figure 1 transverse to the longitudinal axis of the Longitudinal axis of the plate-shaped element 3. The grooves 11 are preferably in the same Distances to each other, as shown in Figure 3 and run preferably over the entire length and width of the element 3, however this not absolutely necessary. The second group of grooves, denoted by 12 are, extends parallel to the longitudinal axis and laterally offset from the central axis, namely, along the area covered by the element 2. The number of Grooves 12 of the second group is preferably 3, but can be increased if necessary and be humiliated.

The grooves 12 of the second group preferably have a larger open cross section opposite to the transversely thereto formed grooves 11 to a rich Distribution of the liquid active ingredient over the entire length of the element 3 safely to make, so that all in the transverse direction extending grooves 11 sufficient can be charged with liquid drug.

As is apparent from Figures 1 and 3, the element 3 has substantially rectangular Shape. The provided on the element 3 plate-shaped element 2 has substantially also rectangular in shape and can according to Figure 4 with additional Grooves 12 a be provided to provide the cover 12 to the grooves of the element 3 are the open cross-section of the grooves of the second group formed thereby in the area of coverage of elements 2, 3 to enlarge.

For feeding the distributor device 4 is the upper element 2 with an opening 14 provided around which optionally a flange-like projection 15 is formed may be to receive the neck 1a of the container 1.

As is apparent from Figures 1 and 2 in detail, the element 2 sits on the Element 3, wherein the element 2 side of the element 3 for the purpose of covering or inclusion the designated 12 grooves is provided while the plate-shaped Element 3 extends laterally beyond the plate-shaped element 2. The on the remaining free surface of the plate-shaped element 3 formed grooves 11 serve to the liquid active substance from the container 1 through the opening. 7 and through the element 2 through its opening 14 in the grooves 12 formed by the Connecting channel enters, via the grooves 11 to the outside, either during the flushing process in the toilet bowl or between rinses for the purpose of air improvement.

From the above description it follows that between the grooves 12 of the second Group and the grooves 11 of the first group "intersections" are present to the liquid agent entering the distributor device 4 through the opening 14, via the channels 12 in the channels 11 forward.

As far as the plate-shaped element 3 covered by the plate-shaped element 2 is, the grooves 11 and 12 are completed, i. they form channels or capillary Tubes, while the grooves 11, extending outside the plate-shaped element 2, are open at the top and thus by flowing rinse water can be acted upon.

The shape of the grooves 11, 12 and 12a can be seen from the cross section V-shaped, U-shaped etc. be. The open cross-section of the grooves 11 is selected so that in the container 1 active ingredient dosed out of the distributor device 4 flows in Direction to the area of the plate-shaped element 3, the rinse water directly is accessible.

Figure 4 shows a view of the plate-shaped element 2, viewed from below. From Figure 4 it follows that the plate-shaped element 2 optionally on its underside additionally provided with longitudinally extending grooves 12a can, which are in coincidence with the corresponding grooves 12 on the top of the lower plate-shaped element 3, whereby the open cross-section the resulting combined groove sections 12, 12a can be significantly increased. alternative For this purpose, the grooves 12 can only through the grooves 12 a at the bottom Surface of the plate-shaped element 2 may be formed and the corresponding grooves 12 omitted on the surface of the plate-shaped element 3; in this case then are the grooves 12a in fluid communication with the transverse to the element 3 extending grooves 11, whereby the removal of active substance from the container 1 is ensured via the distributor device 4 in the direction of the plate section 3a is.

From the partial sectional view of Figure 2 shows that after placement of the container 1 the closure device designated 8, e.g. in the form of a membrane or a plug through the opening mandrel 9 from the neck-shaped opening 7 of the Container is pressed into the container. The neck 1a of the container 1 is seated according to Figure 2 then in the opening flange 15 which on the plate-shaped element. 2 can be designed as a circular collar. The laterally of the plate-shaped Element 2 wegerstreckende portion of the plate-shaped element 3 is in Figure 2 designated 3a. Is the device of the invention on the edge of a Toilet bowl or a toilet bowl placed from the inside, is the Plate portion 3a near and approximately perpendicular to the substantially vertical Wall of the toilet bowl and is therefore due to the rinse water during each flushing acted upon.

In FIG 5 are the same parts with respect to Figure 1 and 2 provided with the same reference numerals and will therefore not be described again. Compared to the embodiment of FIG 1 and 2 is different, that at the bottom of the invention Device provided in the first embodiment, cup-shaped frame or the cup-shaped frame 5 is omitted, which in the embodiment of FIG 1 and 2 carries a hook-shaped holding device 18, which in ansich known Way is provided in such devices, the device on the edge to be able to clamp a toilet bowl or the like. Corresponding is then the holding device 18 on the distributor device 4 or elsewhere to arrange. In this embodiment, only a frame-like is substantially planar and square frame 5a provided, whereby the overall height of the Device is reduced. The frame 5a serves only to support the plate-shaped element 3 and can even be omitted if necessary.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the distributor device 4 is so set up that the grooves 11 omitted over the area designated 3a, or that the region 3a is produced with a predetermined surface roughness and thus the grooves 11 and 12 exclusively in the area of overlapping Sections of the two elements 2 and 3 are formed. As a result, all Grooves 11 and / or 12 also present only on the lower surface of the element 2 be. The surface roughness of the portion 3a in this case has the purpose of leaking liquid agent on the upper surface of the plate-shaped element 3 to hold.

As can be seen from the above description, the grooves or channels 11 define 12 in the overlapping area between the elements 2 and 3, a tubular Connection system, which has the purpose of the liquid active substance, the from the container 1 enters the distributor device 4, over the entire length and Width of the plate-shaped element 3 in the coverage area of both elements 2, 3rd evenly distributed and in the embodiment of Figures 1 to 4 in addition uniformly laterally beyond the grooves 11 of the section 3a to the outside to distribute. This communicating tube system has the nutritional effect of a Kapilarsystemes, that is, on the area 3a of the plate-shaped element 3rd Occurring rinsing water is capable of the liquid active ingredient from the distribution device 4, this effect being achieved by choosing the open cross-section of the tube or Rillensystenis is controllable. The cross-section of the tube or groove system thus depends on the consistency of the liquid active ingredient and leaves therefore, it is readily appreciated that the life, i. the delivery time for the active substance is controllable depending on the consistency of the liquid active ingredient.

Der Behälter 1 steht damit im wesentlichen senkrecht zu den plattenförmigen Elementen 2, 3.In the apparatus according to the invention, the container 1 after exhaustion of the Substitute agent, i. put a new container 1 by connecting it with the opening 7 pointing down, i. placed upside down on the distributor device 4 becomes. The container 1 is thus substantially perpendicular to the plate-shaped Elements 2, 3.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the plate-shaped element is the third on its side facing away from the grooves 12 side with a preferably flexible contact portion 19, which is shown in Figure 6 and serves a tight To cause contact with the toilet bowl wall, not shown in Figure 2. The purpose of section 19 is that of the wall of the toilet bowl draining water to the area 3a to direct the mixing of the active ingredient with the rinse water to improve. The section 19 may be of such Flexibility that he adhere to the shape of the wall of the toilet bowl adapts and a largely tight seal against the wall of the toilet bowl.

The entire plate-shaped element 3 according to Figure 6 may have a width, as they is shown in Figure 3 and the grooves 11 can be up to the edge of the section 19th extend, i. the grooves 11 can pass continuously over the portions 19 be provided.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, the distribution device Although from the first and second plate-shaped element 2, 3, but are the two elements at their common edge preferably over a no further represented film hinge firmly together and hinged together.

Has one of the two example made of plastic plate-shaped elements 2, 3 a plane contact surface with respect to the other with the grooves 11, 12th provided plate-shaped element, arises opposite to the provided with the grooves Element a certain capillary action due to the preferably centric arrangement the container neck relative to the distributor device, whereby the dosage the drug delivery is controllable.

By the device according to the invention it is achieved that the active ingredient on the plate-shaped element 3 is led to the outside and in the toilet bowl, wherein the active ingredient distributed over the grooves 11 on the surface of the element 2 becomes. During the flushing process, the water is spread over the open area, i. on the Section 3a and washed off the drug. To improve the supply line of the rinse water on the element 3 is the designated 19 section after Type of lip bent upwards.

In a further preferred embodiment, the grooves 11 V-shape and include a 60 ° C angle, while the grooves 12 in the plate-shaped element 3 extend in the longitudinal direction and enclose an angle of 90 ° C. The grooves 12 are here over an area of about 2/5 of the total area of the element. 3 distributed.

With the device according to the invention is a continuous drug delivery has a very good room scent achieved. The function of the invention Device is based on the interaction between the resulting Capillary forces within the grooves 11, 12 on the one hand and on the area 3a running rinse water of the toilet bowl on the other. This will ensure that after activation of the container and after repeated rinsing also in subsequent long periods of rest, a leakage and thus a consumption of Active ingredient does not occur. This is the life of the device according to the invention greatly increased, in particular, the life depends individually control the types of active substances used by appropriate Change of the groove structure. The Nachförderung the drug solution in the container 1 is controlled by the Kapilarkräfte from the container 1 in a predetermined manner.
