Abstract

The opening (17) in the rigid protective cap (16) covering the opening (30) in the fitting housing (5) for receiving the control unit cartridge (4), is reduced in size by a flexible cuff (19). The fastener section (7) of the mixer lever (2) and/or the lever (3) for operating the control unit extends through a small opening (23) in the cuff. The fitting housing has an opening in its top end for receiving a control unit cartridge operated by an upwards-extending lever. A mixer lever is located above the top end of the fitting and includes a fastener section connected to the lever for operating the control unit.
