Abstract

The glass sheets (2) are supported on a seal inside the window frame and with lips of the frame supporting the outer sides of the glass pack. The outer lips (37) are set back towards the frame to provide a wider angle of view from inside the window. One of the window sheets is thinner than the other to lighten the structure. The outer pane of glass is the thicker, reinforced glass with the inner glass pane 1 to 2 mm thinner. The window frame sections are provided with integral seals (8) to seal the closed window. The position of the outer lip of the window frame takes into account the refraction effect when viewing out of the window.

Description

The invention relates to windows with a conventional double glass insulating pane. Such windows often appear very difficult when viewed in the direction of view, because the Wooden parts of the window frame and especially the window sash compared to the freely visible glass surfaces are very wide. In contrast, they are Wooden parts in other window constructions, such as composite or box windows, how they were used a lot, especially in the past, less broad, so that these windows look more delicate and elegant.

This difference is technically due to the fact that composite or Box windows the frame of the wing just a simple thin and light Glass pane had to be worn, and therefore the casement not too much had to have high stability.

In the case of a window with an insulating pane, the weight per surface of which is more than is twice as large as that of a simple window glass Window sashes must be dimensioned appropriately to withstand this weight in the long run to be able to wear without delay etc.

This problem mainly occurs with wooden windows. Windows where the Frame of the window sash and also the window frame made of metal or metal-plastic mixed constructions exist, achieve even with less Cross sections very high strength.

Nevertheless, it is known from GB-2 150 185, the inner surface of the Spacer between the glass panes of the insulating pane at an angle to Arrange the main plane of the insulating washer to improve the line of sight.

However, there the inclination is chosen so that the inner surface of the Spacer near the outer glass pane further from the center of the Window is removed as close to the inner glass pane. In addition, it is the Glass pane on the inside of the wing encompassing the wing just different beveled around, which just negatively affects the line of sight.

In addition, there are no glass retaining strips in this construction present, and thus the insulating washer cannot come out of the window sash can be removed without completely disassembling it in the circumferential direction.

From US 3,775,914 it is also known that the insulating to dimension the outer glass pane thicker than the inner glass pane.

It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a window with a multi-glass insulating pane to create, which is in the direction of view of the beholder from the outside looks as light and graceful as possible, i.e. the visible width of the non-transparent Components of the window is as small as possible. The window should be additional have the simplest possible structure, and yet the usual windows requirements such as tightness against wind, water and Optimally meet temperature differences.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1 solved. Advantageous embodiments result from the subclaims.

The fact that the inner surface of the spacer of the insulating washer obliquely Falls on the room side, and in the same way that on the room side adjoining glass retaining bar, is the depth of the inner surface of the spacer as well as the depth of the glass retaining bar for a viewer who is viewing the building from outside at a distance that is at least the vanishing point of these inner surfaces the window corresponds, viewed, no longer visible, in contrast to the normal 90 ° angle position.

In this case, the viewer sees only the outer end face of the window sash. Due to the additional different thickness of the glass panes Insulating washer, and especially the arrangement of the thicker washer on the Outside, the light is refracted on the thicker outer pane, which is the thickness of the parts behind it, provided they are more when viewed than can be seen from the vanishing point, appear optically smaller leaves than it actually is.

Because in this way the depth of the wooden parts, such as the window sash, The cross-sectional dimensioning is of little importance visually of the window sash, but also of the window frame, towards greater depth and reduced width, based on the direction of view of a viewer in contrast to conventional window constructions with insulating washers which is the cross-section of a window sash when viewed in the direction of view usually significantly wider than deep.

A depth to width ratio (already including the Glass retaining strip) of a leg of a window sash of less than 1.0 - ideally of less than 0.8 - can be achieved. A width can thus be given in concrete numbers of the window sash of only approx. 60 mm or even only 50 mm, with one average wood quality and window size.

The width of such a window sash also depends on how strong this window sash is when closed and when viewing is covered on the outside by the window frame, and how wide this window frame is is trained.

To the necessary overlap of window frame and window sash in the rebates To be able to train as little as possible, it depends on their cross-sections to weaken their stability by making the folds and grooves as small as possible. The grooves are necessary, for example, to accommodate all-round seals first achieve the desired tightness of the window.

The less deep the groove for inserting and fixing the seal has to be, and ever less wide the stop surface of the sealing part of the seal on Counter element, the less wide can e.g. the window stick be trained which in turn minimizes the width of the overlapping unit Window stick and casement benefits.

To achieve this, a special seal is proposed, which consists of two Materials, namely a supporting base band made of relatively hard rubber and a hollow sealing profile made of cellular rubber applied thereon as a sealing element consists. This way, not only from a visual point of view very easily the easier to dye cellulose in any desired Window color (white, light brown, dark brown etc.) are supplied, and thereby the Seal optically very unobtrusive, but it also results improved, i.e. minimized, dimensioning options:

The groove for partial insertion and thus fixing the seal, both in the Window stick and can be accommodated in the window sash, only needs about 8 mm deep, in contrast to 10 to 12 mm with conventional seals. At first glance, this may only make a slight difference notch effects caused by a groove and in particular in one Inhomogeneous building material such as wood disadvantages, however, potentiates the Impact on the dimensioning of the wooden window sash.

It can also be compared to the hard and stabilizing Baseband of the seal optimally soft, supple and sealing Hollow profile made of cellular rubber without reducing the width to just 10 mm Losing tightness. This version of the Seal already gives a possibility of reducing the dimensioning of the Window sash of about 1 cm. An additional advantage is that this Way, even when installing two such seals in the direction of view spaced, there is still enough undiminished wood cross-section in between, for example, locking bolts or other securing elements on the window to be able to contribute.

Despite this reduction in the width of the casement and the additional Increasing its depth, the window sash is stable enough, for example Additional parts such as a weatherboard are no longer integrated or even in one piece to have to train the window sash (for reasons of stability). Rather, one Weatherboard now separately and subsequently e.g. just by simple Screwing on the finished window sash can be fixed, which is also the replacement after Weathering much easier.

Furthermore, there is the possibility due to the relatively slight weakening through groove cross sections etc. for the seal, further weakening of the Window sash through recesses for the deflection gear, etc. of the existing metal fittings that have to be integrated in the window sash, to record what was previously only with an additional stronger dimensioning Window sash was possible with complicated fittings.

In Fig. 1, the overlap is in the middle of a double-leaf window 1 shown.

In the upper half of Fig. 1 is in the extension of the inclination Inner surfaces 15 and 15 'with the corresponding plane of the opposite Leg of the same wing 16, the vanishing point 26 is shown. When a Viewers from vanishing point 26 in viewing direction 7, that is, perpendicularly from the outside looking at the window plane, he can see the inner surfaces 15, 15 'of the spacer 3 the insulating pane 2 and the glass retaining strip 25 just no longer recognize. At further approach or lateral deviation, it becomes increasingly visual perceive, with further distance from the window there is no perception more.

In addition, it can be seen how the beam path through the glass pane through a recess 27 experiences the vanishing point from which the Inner surfaces 15, 15 'are no longer visible, in addition to the window relocated or - in reverse - a further encapsulation of the pane 2 made possible by the wing 16 without this being visually significant.

In Fig. 1 it is also shown that the resulting in viewing direction 7 Beam path 35 through the window on the one hand the outermost and passes through innermost viewing point 36 and 37, i.e. the one on the outside and Inside of the window furthest to the center of the window 6 points of the wood, and further along the inclined inner surface 15 of the Spacer 3 on the one hand, such as the inner surface 15 'of the glass holding strip 25 on the other hand, their profiling consequently does not go beyond the beam path should protrude.

As can also be seen in FIG. 3, the cross section of the wing 16 is the same dimensioned that the width 23 is at most equal, preferably less than that Depth 24 of the wing 16. This ensures sufficient stability of the wing 16 achieved because there is only a slight weakening by the to be introduced Sealing groove 9 or folds for sealing contact surfaces 10 is required.

As a result, it is also possible, for example, that shown in FIG. 1 fixed set wood 28 very narrow and weak, as it otherwise just a blow bar of a double-leaf window that overlaps without setting timber enables.

In the solution of Fig. 1, only a seal 8 is installed, which in this case in lower wing 16 'sits and with its contact surface in this area Overlap on the other wing 16 is present. In contrast, Fig. 2 shows the lower cross leg of a wing 16, which has two such seals and a third additional seal 8 'sealingly abuts the stick 17. In this case it is front of the two seals 8 incorporated in the floor 17, while the room-side seal 8 is incorporated in the wing 16. The small dimensions the seals 8, however, allows, in addition to the extremely weak Dimensioning especially of the wing 16 due to the low notch effect through the sealing grooves 9 there are even additional ones in between Securing elements, such as securing bolts 29 to provide the closed window through the fitting from wing 16 to floor 17 or vice versa and an additional burglar alarm represent. When using conventional, larger seals, this would only be the case with stronger dimensioning of the wing 16 and possibly also the stick 17 possible.

The additional, designing seal 8 'lies in a form-fitting manner in a drip plate 30, which is preferably made of aluminum, with the drip plate 30 below the weather leg 18 on the top of the lower leg of the Stockes 17 is screwed. As a result, it lies in the viewing direction 7 against the window 1 directed additional seal 8 'on the outer surface of the wing 16 as the first Sealing on, and prevents large amounts of water from entering the Drainage channel 31, which is incorporated in floor 17.

Also in Fig. 3, in which a cross-sectional view of the stop side of a Wing 16 is shown, whereby the hinge 32 is visible, is again the slim dimensioning of the profile of the wing 16 with a low Ratio 23 to depth 24 of the wing can be seen, which is a narrow effect of the Wing 16 when looking at vanishing point 26 results from or even further away. Here, too, the sealing is again carried out via two seals 8, the one is located in floor 17 and the other in wing 16.

The structure of the seal can also be seen best in FIG. 3: the seal 8 consists of a base band 19, which is made of relatively hard, difficult to connecting rubber exists. In the end region of the cross section of the Baseband 19, which is later inserted into the sealing groove 9 at least one nose profile 21 for retention in the sealing groove 9 barbed to the base band 19.

In addition, the base band 19 is offset in one piece somewhat further towards the center a contact lip 22 is formed, which projects laterally from the base band 19 further than the nose profiles 21 and at about a right angle or even slightly less to the baseband, viewed from the nose profiles 21, strives. This Contact lip 22 is used for tight contact with the wood in the area next to the Sealing groove 9.

In the other end region of the base band 19 is - on the same side as that Abutting lip 22 and the nose profile 22 striving out - a hollow sealing profile 20th made of cellular rubber firmly to the base tape 19 by vulcanization or gluing connected. This hollow profile 20 has a high elasticity with optimal Adaptability to the opposite sealing contact surface 10, and assumes the original form again and again when it is relieved.

The sealing profile 20 is colored through in the desired color of the window 1, e.g. e.g. in white or a certain shade of brown. Furthermore, the Cellular rubber of the hollow sealing profile in a thinner layer thickness over the Outside of the base band 19 to the free end of the contact lip 22. As a result, all visible parts of the built-in seal 8 are in the desired color of the cellular rubber.
