Claims (5)

  1. Clamping table, with an upper frame (5) which is carried by legs (1, 2, 3, 4) and on whose opposed longitudinal members (6, 7) are supported two plate-like clamping jaws (8, 9) of which the front clamping jaw (8) can be applied to the rear clamping jaw (9) by means of two adjusting spindles (14) arranged in the longitudinal members (6, 7), wherein the rear clamping jaw (9) is guided slidably and obliquely adjustably on the longitudinal members (6, 7) and relative to the longitudinal members (6, 7) and is equipped with locking latches (32) which engage in stop openings (35) of the longitudinal members (6, 7) and which can be lifted out of the stop openings (35) by means of actuating members (37) and held fast in a release position, characterised in that the stop openings (35) are holes arranged on the upper side of the longitudinal members (6, 7) and in that the locking latches (32) are in each case mounted in a sliding block (24) guided on the longitudinal members (6, 7) and carrying the clamping jaw (9) so as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis (33).
  2. Clamping table according to claim 1, characterised in that the locking latches (32) are in each case biased by a return spring (36) in a direction towards their locking position.
  3. Clamping table according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the actuating members (37) consist of hand levers (38) which are connected to the locking latches (32) and which extend at a distance below the clamping jaw (9) to a point behind the rear side thereof and comprise an upwardly cranked handle (39) under which a finger can engage.
  4. Clamping table according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the sliding blocks (24) in each case engage by a sleeve-like attachment (27) with radial play in the narrower portion (31) of an upwardly widening stepped bore (29) of the clamping jaw (9) and in that the portion (30) of the stepped bore (29) of wider diameter receives with radial play the head of a fastening screw (25) and if occasion arises a plain washer (28) seated on the bore shoulder.
  5. Clamping table according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that associated with the clamping jaws (8, 9) is a set of clamping prisms (40-43) which are in each case provided with a lower pin (44) which can be inserted in holes (45) of the clamping jaws (8, 9).
