Definitions

  • the present invention relates to hair clips, in particular used for female hairstyle.
  • Known hair clips include generally a first jaw actuated by a first opening lever to which it is secured according to a first intermediate connection zone, and a second jaw actuated by a second opening lever to which it is joined by a second intermediate connection zone.
  • Means of articulation connect the first and the second connecting zones intermediate, to allow the respective pivoting of the first jaw and of the second jaw relative to each other around an axis of articulation transverse between a spread position and a tight position.
  • Means elastics pivot the first and second jaws one by one compared to each other toward their tight position.
  • the elastic means include a spring made of a helical elastic metal wire wrapped around the transverse articulation axis.
  • a first end wire extends radially away from the axis and comes in support on the internal face of the first opening lever.
  • the second end of the wire extends radially away from the axis and comes to bear on the internal face of the second opening lever.
  • the spring is prestressed in rotation around the axis, so that its two protruding ends urge the opening levers apart one from the other, thus pushing the jaws towards their tight position.
  • a first drawback of such a structure is that it requires the use of a metal wire formed as a helical spring at contiguous turns.
  • the contiguous turns constitute a plurality of slots or small dwellings in which water and others liquid products can stagnate. During long use duration, the metal wire is thus likely to be corroded by humidity and the various products used in hairdressing.
  • a second drawback of such a structure is that the spring is necessarily prestressed in the tight position, so as to present sufficient force to clamp the clamp, from the spread position. It can then occur, during heat treatments of the clamp to during finishing, that the spring ends penetrate the arms of plastic, and deform them, if the material plastic is sufficiently softened by heat. The functioning the clamp is defective.
  • Another known structure of a hair clip includes articulation means with parts engaging male and female, and special molded spring parts with a general U-shaped profile with longitudinal branches and parts hanging.
  • the production and assembly of the molded spring parts of particular shapes increase the cost of production.
  • the problem proposed by the present invention is to remove the use of such elastic means consisting of a wire spring helical metallic likely to be visible on the posterior surface of the clamp, so as to avoid the drawbacks of these known structures pliers.
  • clamp structure according to the invention must be able to be produced at low cost, and must in particular be assembled in such a way fast and simple.
  • the structure of hair clip according to the invention comprises, in a manner known from the document FR-A-755662, a first jaw and a second jaw articulated to each other and actuated by opening levers, with articulation means comprising first and second perforated pins projecting beyond of the first and second connecting areas respectively intermediate and close to each other transversely along the axis of articulation, a third and a fourth perforated lugs protruding first and second connecting areas respectively intermediate and close to each other transversely along the axis articulation while being transversely spaced from the first two perforated pins, and a connecting shaft passing through the perforations of the four perforated pins to connect the two jaws and allow their pivoting between the spread and tight positions, and with means elastic which urges them towards the tight position.
  • the clamp according to the invention comprises elastic means individuals.
  • the elastic means comprise two elastic rings identical open to flat section, arranged around the axis of rotation and coaxially to each other along a transverse axis parallel to the axis of rotation. Their two respective ends come to rest in corresponding housings provided on the external face of the connection zones jaw intermediaries in front of the articulation axis. Their parts intermediaries pass through corresponding lights arranged in the opening levers, and surround the two groups of lugs perforated between said levers.
  • the two elastic rings cover the perforated articulation lugs on the rear face of the clamp.
  • the two elastic rings In looking at the clamp from the rear side, we see the two elastic rings, as well as the connecting shaft. In themselves, these elements look much nicer than wire spring helical metal with protruding ends which was visible on the pliers used until now.
  • the elastic rings advantageously have a curved profile regular in C and, in the tightened position, the profile with regular curvature in C is substantially circular.
  • the elastic rings have a width equal or greater than the width of the groups of perforated pins, to completely obscure the perforated pins in the articulation area visible between the two clamp levers.
  • a tubular element engaged on the connecting shaft and connecting the two groups of respective perforated pins, to conceal the connecting shaft in the area of visible articulation between the two levers.
  • the element tubular can itself be decorated, and, by its larger section, constitutes by itself a decorative element which appreciably improves the appearance of the pliers.
  • a hair clip according to the invention comprises a first jaw 1 actuable by a first lever opening 2 to which it is secured according to a first connection zone intermediate 3, and a second jaw 4 actuable by a second lever opening 5 to which it is secured by a second connection zone intermediate 6.
  • Hinge means 7 connect the first connection zone intermediate 3 and the second intermediate connecting zone 6, for authorize the respective pivoting of the first jaw 1 and the second jaw 4 relative to each other around a transverse articulation axis 8 between a spread position shown in Figure 6 and a position tight shown in Figure 5.
  • Elastic means bias in pivoting the first jaw 1 and the second jaw 4 one relative to the other to their tight position.
  • the articulation means comprise a first perforated lug 9 and a second perforated lug 10 protruding respectively from the first intermediate connection zone 3 and of the second intermediate connection zone 6.
  • the first 9 and the second 10 perforated pins are placed close to each other, side by side transversely along the hinge axis 8 as illustrated in the figure 4.
  • a third perforated lug 11 and a fourth lug perforated 12 protrude respectively from the first connection zone intermediate 3 and the second intermediate connecting zone 6, and are placed close to each other side by side transversely according to the hinge pin 8, while being transversely spaced from the two first perforated pins 9 and 10 with a spacing E suitable for ensure sufficient stabilization of the joint.
  • the elastic means comprise two elastic rings 13 and 14 open, arranged around the axis of rotation and coaxially one to the other along a transverse axis parallel to the axis of rotation 8.
  • the respective ends such as ends 15, 16 and 17 of the rings elastic 13 and 14 come to bear in corresponding housings such as the housings 18 and 19 formed on the external face of the zones of intermediate connection 3 and 6 of the jaws, in front of the articulation axis 8.
  • the intermediate parts 20 and 21 of the elastic rings 13 and 14 pass through corresponding lights 22, 23, 24, and 25 formed in opening levers 2 and 5, and surround the two groups of perforated lugs 9-12, between said levers 2 and 5.
  • the elastic rings 13 and 14 advantageously have a flat section, for example the rectangular section, and their width is greater than the width of each of the groups of perforated pins 9-12, to conceal fully perforated lugs in the visible articulation area between the two levers 2 and 5, as illustrated in Figure 3.
  • the elastic rings 13 and 14 can be made of metal, or any other material having the desired elastic properties to obtain the necessary clamping force of jaws 1 and 4 of the clamp.
  • the articulation is completed by a connecting shaft 26, which crosses the respective perforations of the four perforated pins 9-12 to connect the two jaws.
  • the shaft 26 defines the hinge axis 8, and it is visible in Figure 4.
  • the shaft 26 is necessarily smaller diameter than the size of the perforated pins 9-12. So there remains a space between the two intermediate connecting zones 3 and 6, in particular in the spacing zone E located between the two groups of pins perforated 9, 10 and 11, 12.
  • the clamp significantly improves the aesthetic appearance of the clamp, in its posterior zone, by providing a tubular element 27, engaged on the connecting shaft 26, and connecting the two groups of perforated lugs 9, 10 and 11, 12, to conceal the connecting shaft 26 in the articulation zone apparent distance E between the two levers 2 and 5.
  • the element tubular 27 can advantageously be a decorated element, for example of a shade different from that of levers 2 and 5, in particular of the same shade than elastic rings 13 and 14.
  • the elastic rings 13 and 14 have a thin, making them barely visible on their side, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.
  • the intermediate parts 20 and 21 of the elastic rings 13 and 14 come close to the respective groups of perforated lugs 9, 10 and 11, 12, so that the perforated pins 9-12 are the least visible possible.
  • the elastic rings 13 and 14 have a curved profile in side view regular in C: in the tight position in Figure 5, the profile is substantially circular; in the separated position in FIG. 6, the profile is C-shaped open.
  • the elastic rings 13 and 14 are supported in the corresponding housings 18, 19 according to a prestressing force low when the clamp is in the clamped position. Thanks to the ring shape elastic rings 13 and 14, even when the pretensioning force is weak in the tight position, the elastic rings 13 and 14 produce sufficient elastic restoring force when the clamp is in position dismissed. Such an effect was not obtained with the coil springs traditional.
  • the jaws 1 and 4 of a clamp according to the invention may have various forms. The same applies to levers 2 and 5.
  • FIG 1 there is shown a pliers according the invention with jaws 1 and 4 having a general crescent shape of moon, developing transversely i.e. parallel to the axis rotation 8.
  • the anterior lips 28 and 29 of the jaws 1 and 4 come to bear against one another along their length.
  • the jaws 1 and 4 form pliers generally flat and wide.
  • the jaws 1 and 4 form two series of parallel teeth such as teeth 31, curved towards each other and coming to nest in a tight position.
  • the profile longitudinal of the teeth 31 can in particular be substantially circular, as illustrated in Figures 5 and 6.
  • the ends 32 and 33 of the teeth are spaced from each other, to allow introduction into the hair.
  • ends 32 and 33 of both sets of teeth come opposite each other and then cross when the clamp comes in the clamped position.
  • Levers 2 and 5 can take various forms, for example example a crescent moon shape as illustrated in the figures 3 and 4, or a more rectangular shape as illustrated on the Figure 1, with decorative openwork, with a worked outline, or with a decoration applied on their posterior face.
