Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Flügelfalzdichtung aus elastischem Material für Fenster, Türen o. dgl., mit einem Fußsteg, der mindestens eine Haltelippe und ggf. einen Abdecksteg aufweist, und einem an den Fußsteg anschließenden Profilrücken mit einem als Hohlquerschnitt ausgebildeten Anschlagprofil.The invention relates to a sash rebate made of elastic material for windows, doors or the like, with a footbridge which has at least one retaining lip and possibly a cover bridge, and a profile back adjoining the footbridge with a stop profile designed as a hollow cross section.
Die bei bekannten Flügelfalzdichtungen verwendeten Dichtungsprofile (z.B. GB-A-2216163) eignen sich nicht zum Einbau als sog. umlaufende Dichtungsrahmen, da bei der Umlenkung des Profiles um 90 ° in den Ecken Faltungen und Materialanhäufungen auftreten. Vielmehr müssen die Dichtungsrahmen aus entsprechend dem Aufmaß, z. B. eines zu dichtenden Fensterflügels, abgelenkter und auf Gehrung geschnittener Meterware zusammengesetzt und in den Ecken verschweißt oder als Rahmen vulkanisiert werden. Die erfindungsgemäße Flügelfalzdichtung 11 weist einen Fußsteg 1 zur Befestigung in einer entsprechenden Nut eines Flügelrahmens 12 auf. Im gezeigten Beispiel sind an dem Fußsteg 1 eine Haltelippe 2 sowie ein Abdecksteg 7 vorgesehen. An den Fußsteg 1 schließt sich ein Profilrücken 9 mit dem Anschlagprofil 3 an. Das Anschlagprofil 3 besteht aus S-faltenförmig ausgebildeten Seitenstegen 5, 5 a und dem ebenfalls faltenförmig ausgebildeten Quersteg 10. Das aus Anschlagprofil 3 und Profilrücken 9 gebildete Hohlprofil zeigt somit einen im wesentlichen schmetterlingsförmigen Querschnitt mit den Dichtungszonen 6, 6 a. Claims (3)
- A casement groove seal composed of elastic material for windows, doors or the like, with a base member comprising at least one retaining lip and optionally a covering member, and with a profile back which adjoins the base member and possesses a stop profile in the form of a hollow cross-section, characterised in that the stop profile (3) consists of fold-shaped cross-members (10) which connect side members (5, 5a) in the form of S-shaped folds arranged homoloqously to one another, wherein in the relaxed state the stop profile (3) and the profile back (9) jointly form a substantially butterfly-shaped cross-section with sealing zones (6, 6a).
- A casement groove seal as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the cross-sections of the side members (5, 5a) and of the cross-member (10) of the stop profile (3) comprise respective notches (8) in the fold troughs on the inside of the profile.
- A casement groove seal as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a filament insert (4) is embedded in the outer edge zone of the profile back (9) opposite the base member (1).
