Definitions

  • the invention relates to rail fastening means for connecting a rail to a support comprising a connecting arrangement which is connected on the one hand to the support and on the other hand to the rail, the connecting arrangement comprising at least a first part connected to the support and a second part connected to the rail .
  • the tasks to be solved by rail fasteners include: securing the track dimension, preventing the rail from tipping over when the force is applied from the side, securing against lifting the rail from the support, producing a frame-rigid track by partially twist-resistant connection of the rails to the support.
  • Rail fasteners are also intended to ensure that the rail is not shifted longitudinally towards the support.
  • Rail joints of different constructions are used to connect the rail sections.
  • Pull-out joints or rail pull-out devices or dilation devices are known in which changes in length are compensated for in that the end of a rail is designed as a tongue rail and the other as a stock rail in the manner of a switch tongue device.
  • the stock rail is firmly connected to the support like a ribbed plate, which in turn emanates from a threshold.
  • the tongue rests slidably on the stock rail.
  • Butt joints are e.g. B. AT-B-16393 or DE-B-1 004 214 (see preamble of claim 1).
  • the object of the present invention is to further develop rail fastening means of the type mentioned at the outset such that when undesirable forces occur in the longitudinal direction of the rail, that is to say when an undesired change in length occurs due to temperature influences, it is ensured that the support remains anchored.
  • one of the parts has at least one opening running in the longitudinal direction of the rail, which is penetrated by a connecting element through which the parts are positively connected to one another in such a way that the rail to the support in Longitudinal direction of the rail is displaceable.
  • the teaching according to the invention deviates from known form-fitting constructions in such a way that when a force occurs in the longitudinal direction of the rail, which could lead to a solution and displacement of the support and possibly change in the course of the rail, the rail can be displaced in length to the support, so that in particular when used with a Rail extension the advantages achieved by this butt joint are retained.
  • the connecting element is supported against at least one part via at least one prestressed element such as a plate spring.
  • the first part connected to the support comprises an angle element with a leg running vertically, that is to say approximately parallel to the rail web
  • the second part connected to the rail comprises a plate-shaped element running parallel to the leg, which preferably starts from a tab connected to the rail web.
  • the plate-shaped element preferably has at least two elongated perforations, slots or the like, which can originate from the end faces of the element and which in turn are penetrated by the first connecting elements connecting the second part.
  • the openings of the part which do not have the elongated openings, are adapted to the diameter of the shaft of the connecting element, such as a screw element.
  • the spring-biased elements are further preferably located on the surface of the leg of the first part facing away from the rail, that is to say connected to the support.
  • first and second parts engage in a form-fitting manner in such a way that vertical displacement of the rail, that is to say in the direction of its main axis, is ruled out, that is to say that the rail cannot be raised.
  • This form-fitting interaction preferably takes place via step-shaped and interlocking projections which start from the adjoining surfaces of the leg of the first part and the plate-shaped element of the second part.
  • a stock rail (12) and a tongue rail (14) assigned to it are arranged on a support such as a rib plate (10), the latter being supported laterally against the former via holding elements (16), which are not described in detail.
  • the ribbed plate (10) can be attached with e.g. a threshold (20) firmly connected, wherein an insulating layer (22) or the like can still run between the ribbed plate (10) and the threshold (20).
  • the stock rail (12) is now connected to the ribbed plate (10) via a connection arrangement (24) designed according to the invention.
  • the connecting arrangement consists of a first part (26) connected to the rib plate, a second part (28) connected to the stock rail (12), and connecting elements such as screw elements (30) and (32) connecting them to one another.
  • the first part (26) is preferably designed as an angle on which a leg (34) runs approximately parallel to the stock rail (12).
  • a leg (40) of the first part (26) running approximately parallel to the rib plate (10) is penetrated by screw elements or elements having the same effect in order to fasten the first part (26) of the rib plate (10).
  • angle legs can be connected via vertically extending cheeks (36) and (38).
  • the second part (28) connected to the stock rail (12) has a plate-shaped element (44) running parallel to the vertical leg (34) of the first part (24), which in turn is connected to a web strap (46) which is in turn penetrated by a screw element (48) for connecting the second part (28) to the web (50) of the stock rail (28).
  • the plate-shaped element (44) has openings (54) running in the longitudinal direction (52) of the stock rail (28). and (56), through which the connecting elements such as screw elements (30) and (32) pass.
  • These connecting elements (30) and (32) also penetrate the vertically extending legs (34) of the first part of the connecting arrangement (24), for which purpose holes are provided which are adapted to the diameter of the shafts of the connecting elements (30) and (32).
  • the nuts (68) or (70) of the connecting elements (32) or (30) can be on the surface of the plate-shaped element (44) facing the stock rail (12) or on spacing elements such as washers (72) and (74) arranged between them. issue.
  • connection arrangement (24) makes it possible for an undesirable force to be exerted on the stock rail (12) in its longitudinal direction (52), so that it can be displaced in length relative to the ribbed plate (10), i.e. in the direction of the arrow ( 76) is movable.
  • This is made possible by the fact that the openings (54), (56) in the plate-shaped element (44) running in the longitudinal direction (52) of the stock rail (12) move along the first part (26), that is to say parallel to the vertically running part Leg (34) is possible, wherein the bias of the plate springs (64), (66) can be used to determine when a corresponding displacement along the arrow (76) is made possible.
  • connection arrangement (24) further ensures that the stock rail (12) cannot be moved in the vertical direction, that is to say parallel to the dashed line (76), that is to say it can be raised.
  • the leg (34) has a step (78) which interacts with an assigned step (80) in the plate-shaped element (44).
  • the first and second parts (26) and (28) interlock in such a positive manner that lifting of the stock rail (12) from the ribbed plate (10) is impossible, but displacement in the longitudinal direction (52) thereof is possible.
