Drive for a punch-side ejector (15, 16) which is displaceably mounted in a ram (6) of a mechanical forming press and has an angle lever (18) which is pivotably mounted in the ram (6) and whose one limb (17) acts on the end of the ejector (15, 16) averted from the punch (13) and whose other limb (20) is acted upon by a cyclically driven control cam (23) and is held bearing against the latter, the control cam (23) being provided on a control cam carrier (9) which is movably mounted in bearings fixed to the frame, characterised in that the control cam support is constructed as a control carriage (9) and the moveable bearing thereof is constructed as a rectilinear guide, fixed to the frame and extending parallel to the direction of movement of the ram (6), and in that acting on the control carriage (9) in a bearing is a control connecting rod (8) which is mounted at the other end eccentrically on a shaft (4, 7) also serving the drive of the ram (6).
  2. Drive according to Claim 1, characterised in that the control cam (23) is mounted on the control carriage (9) as an interchangeable component (24).
  3. Drive according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the control cam (23) is mounted adjustably on the control carriage (24).
  4. Drive according to Claim 3, characterised in that the adjustability of the control cam (23) is realised by a slide guide (24), arranged at an angle to the guide fixed to the frame, on the control carriage (9), and by detachable fixing means (26).
  5. Drive according to Claim 3, characterised in that the adjustability of the control cam (23) is realised by a guide parallelogram on the control carriage (24) and by detachable fixing means (26).
  6. Drive according to Claim 3, characterised in that the adjustability of the control cam (23) is realised by a mating pair of two wedge surfaces which bear against one another, of which one is provided on the component (24) having the control cam (23) and of which the other is provided on the control carriage (9), and by detachable fixing means (26).
  7. Multiple application of a drive according to at least one of Claims 1 to 6 in a multistage forming press, characterised in that in a number equal to the number of stages angle levers (18) are mounted on a common shaft (19) and control cams (23) are provided on a common control carriage (9).
