Definitions

  • the invention relates to a slide ventilation with a motor-driven fan, the ventilation slide of which is adjustable by means of a drive mechanism, wherein a drive member of the drive mechanism is at the same time a movement element for an electrical switching device for an electric motor of the fan or is connected in such a way that the closed slide ventilation is stationary and the fully open slide ventilation is assigned to the electric motor running at full speed, the drive member being at least indirectly motionally connected to a sliding contact of a potentiometer of the electrical switching device which is in the circuit of the electric motor, the sliding contact being connected to the drive member at least indirectly via a rotatably mounted control member is coupled.
  • a slide ventilation has become known from GB-A 783 757.
  • This document deals with a ventilation device for a car, the ventilation slide designed as a rotary valve being part of a throttle valve.
  • the latter releases the air flow to the interior of the car via an inlet duct, either completely or throttled.
  • the air flow is completely shut off in an end position.
  • Slider vents for residential buildings are equipped with a blower unit if the natural air circulation is insufficient.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to develop a slide ventilation of the type mentioned in such a way that it is suitable for ventilation of a room and a continuous adjustment of the ventilation effect is possible.
  • the slide ventilation is designed according to the preamble of claim 1, corresponding to the characterizing part of this claim.
  • the use of flat, flat slide ventilation makes the latter suitable for installation in residential buildings.
  • the link control enables a continuous change in both the speed of the electric motor of the fan and the opening width of the slide ventilation. With increasing closing of the slide ventilation, the engine speed is gradually reduced, the engine then standing still when the slide ventilation is completely closed. Conversely, the fan motor runs at maximum speed when the slide ventilation is fully open. In this way an individual adaptation of this slide ventilation to the respective needs and requirements is possible.
  • Set controls are characterized by a particularly simple and robust construction and they also offer the possibility of using an openable ventilation housing, the interior of which can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly.
  • an openable ventilation housing the interior of which can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly.
  • coupling of the link control parts when closing the housing is possible without any problems.
  • By opening the housing you can also make the electrical switching device easily accessible. This is of great advantage especially when using a potentiometer.
  • the noise generated by the fan can also be disruptive, so that an individual adjustment of the noise level can also be achieved by closing the slide ventilation to a greater or lesser extent.
  • the drive member or the control member carries a control cam which interacts with a limit switch additionally located in the circuit of the blower motor.
  • the latter can be used to trigger at least one additional switching operation as soon as the control cam has assumed or leaves the corresponding rotary position.
  • the assignment can be made, for example, so that the control cam holds the switch in its open position when the slide ventilation is closed and actuates the switching mechanism as soon as the slide ventilation is partially or fully opened.
  • This switch can also be used to advantageously switch a control lamp on and off in order to signal the operating state of the fan motor.
  • Another variant of the invention is characterized in the case of a slide ventilation with a ventilation which can be displaced on a housing cover slide in that the drive member is designed as a rotatable disk in the ventilation housing with the control pin and the control slot is open at both ends and is formed by two approaches on the surface of the ventilation slide assigned to the drive member, the drive member being the control member.
  • This slide ventilation is perfectly protected against incorrect assembly after opening. If the relative position of the parts of the link control to be coupled with one another is incorrect, the housing of the slide ventilation cannot be closed, because the control pin of the drive member then pushes against one of the two approaches. Only when you have moved the ventilation slide by the necessary amount of correction, can the control pin step between the two approaches, whereby the correct coupling is made and the sliding housing can be closed.
  • the two approaches are one behind the other in the direction of movement of the ventilation slide. They are expediently of the same shape and size. If both are at the same distance from the guides of the ventilation slider, this version is suitable for a construction with a right-hand and left-hand actuator.
  • a further embodiment of the invention provides that the lugs of the control plate are arranged offset to one another perpendicular to the direction of displacement of the ventilation slide. Incorrect coupling of the link control is also excluded here. This means that any existing hinged cover cannot be closed when the control pin hits one of the two approaches. Otherwise, this construction is suitable for an embodiment in which the control member can only be rotated in one direction.
  • the ventilation slide is slidably mounted on a housing cover and is attached to the control member of the sliding contact, and that the drive member is designed as a rotatable disc in the housing cover, which carries the control pin of the link control, which in a hole or. the like of the control element engages. Because here the ventilation slide is to a certain extent between the drive member and the control member, the control pin penetrates the control slot of the ventilation slide. When the housing cover is opened, the control pin is coupled by the control element. While the link control between the control pin and the slide of the slide ventilation is maintained.
  • the free end of the control pin is designed as a telescopic member. This enables a trouble-free automatic coupling of the control pin and control element even if the bore of the control element is not aligned with the free control pin end when the hinged cover is closed. If the free end of the control pin strikes the disk-shaped control member after the hinged lid has been closed, this leads to a compression of the telescope. Coupling with the control element does not take place. Only when the lost correct assignment of control pin and bore in the control member is restored by turning the control member and / or the drive member does the compressed telescopic end of the control pin automatically jump into the bore. From this moment on, the engine speed can also be changed again depending on the slide position.
  • a further development of the invention consists in that the drive element or the control element can be driven by means of an, in particular electrical, servomotor and the limit switch which can be actuated by the control cam is also a switch for the servomotor. Remote control of the slide ventilation is easily possible via this servomotor. In addition, it allows a slide ventilation to be installed at a great height where it is not possible, or at least not readily possible, to actuate the drive member by hand. As already explained, the limit switch can also take on other tasks or take on additional tasks.
  • a further variant of the invention is characterized in that the ventilation slide is formed in two parts and consists of a slide part having only ventilation openings and webs and a control plate having the control slot of the link control. Due to this two-part design, a section of so-called yard goods can be used for the ventilation slide, which enables the slide ventilation to be produced in any length up to the maximum value of the yard goods. With this section, the control plate is connected so that thrust and tensile forces can be transmitted. At the same time, the possibility of right and left arrangement of the drive is retained. If the control slot is located on the control plate, the control pin is attached to the drive or switch-on element.
  • control slot does not necessarily have to be an elongated hole; rather, as provided in the exemplary embodiments, it can also be open on one or two opposite sides. This can be both a punched out control slot and a groove formed by strips or similar elevations.
  • control plate is coupled to a row of holes in a ventilation opening via a row of pins, each ventilation opening of the ventilation slide consisting of several rows of holes. Even with this special ventilation design that prevents insects from entering slots are special measures for coupling the control plate are not necessary despite the use of yard goods.
  • control plate is advantageously slidably mounted in the same guides that also serve to guide the ventilation slide. That is why it is equipped with a cranked coupling end that has the row of pins and which laterally overlaps the outermost ridge of the ventilation slider.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention is that at least one of the longitudinal edges of the control plate has a displacement limiting slot or the like with a bolt engaging therein. of the housing forms a slide limiting device.
  • This achieves a stroke limitation on the one hand and, provided that no other means are provided, exact adherence to the two end positions of the ventilation slide.
  • this configuration enables the ventilation slide to be attached to an openable, in particular hinged, housing cover without the ventilation slide being able to be moved into a position unsuitable for subsequent coupling with the drive in the so-called cleaning position.
  • the cover is designed as a hinged cover of a sound and / or heat-insulated slide ventilation.
  • the slide ventilation has a heat and sound-insulated ventilation housing 1, which essentially consists of a fixed housing part 2 with an approximately U-shaped cross section and a movable housing part designed as a cover 3, which is expediently a hinged cover. After an inclined wall 4 forming the flow channel is firmly connected to the cover 3, that is to say it can be folded out, the interior 5 of the ventilation housing is readily accessible for cleaning and inspection purposes when the cover 3 is open.
  • the ventilation slide 6 is slidably mounted in the direction of the double arrow 7.
  • the housing ventilation openings 8, which according to FIG. 1 have the shape of upright rectangular openings.
  • the ventilation openings 9 of the ventilation slide 6 are formed from a number of hole groups 10 arranged next to one another, in particular offset in the longitudinal direction. In the exemplary embodiment there are five such rows.
  • the webs 11 between these ventilation openings of the ventilation slide 6 and the housing or the cover 3 are essentially the same size. 6, the ventilation slide is advantageously constructed from two parts, the larger slide part 12, which extends over almost the entire length of the slide ventilation, being a section of so-called yard goods, i.e. a raw material several meters long.
  • the comparatively short part of the ventilation slide forms a control plate 13 with a control slot 14. At its left end in FIG. 6, it carries a row of pins 15, the size and spacing of the pins being matched to the hole size and the hole spacing of the hole groups 10. In this way, a quick and secure non-positive connection of both slide parts is possible.
  • All embodiments of this slide ventilation are equipped with a blower 16 which is driven by a blower motor, not shown.
  • the speed of the blower motor can be changed via a potentiometer 20 with sliding contact 21.
  • a drive member 22 (FIG. 3) or 23 (FIG. 4) is also an adjusting member for the motor speed of the blower motor.
  • the opening width of the slide ventilation is determined with the help of the drive element, ie it can move the ventilation slide from the completely closed to the fully open position and vice versa.
  • a limit switch 24, which is actuated by a cam 25, is expediently used.
  • the contacts in the limit switch and thus the circuit are open when the cam 25 depresses the plunger 26 of the limit switch.
  • a control lamp 27 can also be located in the circuit of the blower motor. When it lights up, the blower motor rotates at a speed predetermined by the position of the sliding contact 21.
  • the cam 25 not only switches the circuit for the blower motor, but also that of a servomotor, if the ventilation slide is not moved by hand.
  • the drive member 22 is rotatably mounted on the cover 3. It can by means of a handle, not shown, which is external when the ventilation housing is closed, for example a handle, toggle, handwheel or the like. be rotated by a predetermined amount.
  • the latter is predefined by the drive mechanism and is defined in such a way that in one rotational end position the ventilation openings of the housing or cover 3 and the ventilation slide 6 are congruent, while in the other setting they are each covered by the webs 11 of the other part.
  • a displacement limitation is advantageously achieved by attaching to the control plate 13, that is to say the short part of the ventilation slide 6, an in particular open-ended displacement limitation slot 28 which extends in the displacement direction 7 of the ventilation slide 6 and which cooperates with a stop bolt (not shown), which is inserted into a corresponding hole in the area of the upper housing guide 29 of the cover 3.
  • a displacement limiting slot 28 is also provided in the embodiment of FIG. 6 at the lower end of the control plate 13.
  • a control pin 30 is shown eccentrically on the drive member 22, the free end of which is designed as a telescopic member 31. It passes through the control slot 14 of the control plate 13 and thus forms a link control 32. With its help, the rotary movement of the drive member 22 can be converted into a displacement movement of the ventilation slide 6.
  • the ventilation slide 6 has assumed the shift position provided for this purpose, the telescopic member 31 engages in a bore 33 of a control member 34, which is designed in particular as a control disk. Accordingly, the rotary movement of the handle for the ventilation slide adjustment is transmitted to the control member 34 via the plug coupling consisting of the control pin 30 and the bore 33. Because the sliding contact 21 of the potentiometer 20 is articulated to the control member 34, the adjustment of the ventilation slide 6 also causes a displacement of the potentiometer tap.
  • the ventilation slide 6 has been inadvertently moved when the slide ventilation is open, so that when the cover 3 is closed, the telescopic member 31 is not aligned with the bore 33, the cover can still be closed completely.
  • the telescopic member 31 is pressed against the resistance of a spring, not shown, in the control pin 30. If the drive member 22 is subsequently rotated in the correct direction and by the required amount, the telescopic member 31 jumps into the bore 33 due to the spring tension as soon as the two are aligned. In this way, it is always ensured that a certain opening position of the slide ventilation is assigned to a predetermined potentiometer tap and thus to a precisely determined speed of the fan.
  • the drive member 23 is mounted on the first or fixed housing part 2 and at the same time is designed as a control member 35. It is driven by an electric servomotor 43 and can sit directly on its drive axle. Its control pin 36, which does not require a telescopic member and therefore does not have one, works together with a control slot 37, which is formed by two cube-like extensions 38 and 39 of the control plate 13 and is consequently open at both ends. This control slot 37 and the control pin 36 also form a link control 40 with which the rotary movement of the control member 35 can be converted into a back and forth movement of the ventilation slide 6. However, as I said, the rotary movement is based on an actuator of known design and not directly from the hand of an operator.
  • the two approaches 38 and 39 of FIG. 4 lie exactly parallel to one another and this enables the use of a right-hand and left-hand servomotor 43. However, if the latter only has a single direction of rotation, it is expedient if the two approaches 41 and 42 in 5 apparent from FIG. 5 offset perpendicular to the direction of displacement of the ventilation slide 6 against each other.
  • These projections 41, 42 advantageously have an approximately triangular shape in cross section.
