Abstract

In a filter body made of a zigzag-shaped pleated web of a relatively thin-walled filter material which has, both on the intake side and on the airflux side, between the pleat edges, longitudinal beads respectively projecting from the web plane for mutual spacing of the pleats and in which, between the beads of the same pleat surfaces, undeformed planar sections exist, the spacer function of the beads is to be improved with respect to prolonged operation. For this purpose, the beads are shaped in such a way that each intake bead (3) projecting from the filter material web on the intake side converts at its longitudinal sides into a respective airflux bead (4) projecting out of the other side of the filter material web, the identical heights of the airflux beads (4) being smaller than the identical heights of the intake beads (3) and that neighbouring webs lying one above the other each abut each other on the one side with their intake beads and on the other side with their airflux beads. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a filter body from a zigzag folded web of a relatively thin wall filter material according to the generic term of Pa entitlement.

Such a filter body is from DE-PS 12 48 618 known. The beads are shaped there that with filter material lying on top of each other flow on the upstream and downstream sides spaces result. This results from that known Execution in that one to the upstream side outstanding bead with its long side directly on a neighboring bead protruding towards the outflow side borders. With filter tracks lying on top of each other this means that at each end of the flow space facing outward from this flow space Beads form the conclusion. In the downstream Flow channel of the inflowing medium, ins especially a liquid that is under pressure it is easy to merge at this point fall of the filter web material come, causing the Outflow cross section reduced in an undesirable manner becomes.

The task is to achieve an improvement here of the present invention.

This task is solved by training the Beading and coordination when laying on top barter filter material sheets according to the characteristic Features of the claim.

A filter track with beads, as used to build the filter body according to the invention is used already known from DE-OS 19 22 976. Not however, it is known from that scripture that it is so shaped filter sheets in the pre-invented striking manner. The kind of he assignment of adjacent filter tracks according to the invention is, however, imperative to achieve the desired Effect one against a collapse of its filters layers to achieve safe filter body.

Die erfindungsgemäß erzielbare Stabilität besteht dabei darin, daß die einzelnen Filterfalten auch bei hohen Druckunterschieden zwi schen An- und Abströmseite formstabil bleiben und nicht in Richtung Abströmseite zusammenfallen.DE-OS 26 51 910 is also a corrugated Filter path known, periodically over the length distributes two adjacent wave surveys together form the shape of a W, the middle one Beams higher than the two outer legs is. The higher central beams of the W-shaped waves are used only to lay adjacent fil not all at the same time Shafts supported, but only in larger distances to thereby filter the Bah not unnecessarily downsize. From this There is no indication of the formation of individual waves a combination with the characteristics of a filter web  according to DE-PS 12 48 618, to thereby the through the solution of the invention achievable stability elevation of a filter web laid in zigzag folds to be able to achieve. The achievable according to the invention Stability is that the individual Filter folds even with high pressure differences between between the upstream and downstream sides remain dimensionally stable and do not collapse towards the outflow side.

Fig. 5 is a section along the line VV through the folds of the filter body according to Fig. 4.

The filter web material 1 is provided transversely to its longitudinal extension with individual folding lines 2 , around which the web material can be folded in a zigzag shape.

These double beads consist of a coming in a ready-to-use filter on the inflow side to flow bead 3 and two from the flanks of this bead 3 directly to the other side of the filter web extending outflow beads 4th

The inflow bead 3 extends further vertically out on the material web than the two respectively assigned outflow beads 4 .

In the zigzag folded state of the filter material 1 , the inflow beads 3 are located on the upstream side of two adjacent fold sections, while the downstream side is supported by the smaller outflow beads 4 .

The corrugation of the beads 3 and 4 enables in particular on the outflow side a symmetrical support of the individual filter fold sections over the width of the filter web. As a result, an extremely safe support against collapse of the filter web fold sections can be achieved while maintaining a large free filter area.
