Abstract

The tooth brush head (2) has a flat bristle bed with bristle tufts and a handle (4), coupled to the head by an elastically deformable connector (6), permitting the brush head to deflect under load in a plane orthogonal to the bristle bed. The connector allows the bristle head lateral deflection under all round load of 300 g by 0.6 to 2.5 cm w.r.t. the handle, pre pref by 1 to 2 cm. The outer ends of the bristles may be rounded.
