Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
It is known, in a two-stroke engine, the oil mist in the mixture to lubricate the To use piston pin. This is done in both the piston bosses and the connecting rod head Bores open to the piston interior are arranged, which lead radially to the piston pin.
With such an arrangement of the oil supply it has been found that the lubrication of the piston pin is insufficient. This 1 stems from the fact that the lubricant located in the piston interior in the form of a fog is not supplied to the piston pin in sufficient quantities through these sack-like oil supply points.
Lubrication of the piston pin through the bores in the tangential manner is also known Lubrication channels cutting into the piston eyes. As with the known designs mentioned above but there is also the disadvantage here that this oil supply for mounting the piston pin is sack-like is, so that the lubricant is not supplied to a sufficient extent, if a simple one Lubrication is carried out by oil mist and not by an oil pump that also supplies pressure oil to the piston.
In order to remedy this disadvantage and a simple device for adequate lubrication of the To create piston pin, the invention proposes that the Schniierbohrungen are open on both sides and cut the cylindrical bearing surface for the piston pin so that they each have one Form an opening. This arrangement results in the advantageous mode of action that the inside of the piston oil mist present with each up and down movement of the piston due to its inertia is driven through the holes. By the swinging movement of the connecting rod this process is still supported. In this way, the more oil is advantageously used in both the bearing points of the piston pin in the piston as well as the contact surfaces between the connecting rod and the piston pin the faster the piston moves with the connecting rod.
The inventive concept described is particularly advantageous when the bores are straight and run approximately in the direction of travel of the piston. This is a particularly favorable supply of the lubricant reached.
Es zeigtAn exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows

The piston 1 has a sleeve-shaped piston pin 2 which is held in the piston 1 by means of the spring washers 3. The piston pin 2 is mounted in the connecting rod 4. The holes 5, 6 in the piston eyes 5 °, 6 " and the holes 7, 8 in the connecting rod run tangentially to the piston pin and are both to this, 5 b , 6 b , 7 b , 8 b , and at both ends to Piston interior 9 open.
Fig. 2 shows the way in which the piston pin on the bearing in the piston eye (see right Half of Fig. 2) or on the storage in the connecting rod (see. Left half of Fig. 2), as with Direction of the arrow indicated, the oil mist is supplied. This favorable arrangement of the straight bores approximately in the direction of travel of the piston makes it possible in a particularly advantageous manner that at each up and down movement of the piston as large as possible of the lubricating effect oil mist is driven through the bores and deposited on the piston pin.
