Background
Among various input devices of an electronic device, a touch key does not need to form a key body separated from other parts on a shell of the electronic device, and does not damage the uniform appearance of the electronic device, compared with a traditional mechanical key, so that the touch key is more and more applied. Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1, an electronic device 10 is disclosed. In the present embodiment, the electronic device 10 is a rectangular electronic photo frame.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 3 and fig. 4, the electronic photo frame 10 includes a main body 40, a front frame 20 and a flexible panel 30.
The body 40 includes a housing composed of a front cover 43 and a rear cover 46, and a display unit 44, a circuit board 45, electronic components (not shown), and the like mounted in the housing. The circuit board 45 is mounted with a plurality of key contacts 50, the key contacts 50 passing through the holes 47 of the front cover 43 so that the top thereof is higher than the outer surface of the front cover 43.
In the present embodiment, the elastic panel 30 is a transparent panel, the shape of the elastic panel 30 is a polygon (rectangle), and the material is acrylic. Icons 31 are indicated at the corners of the resilient panel 30 for indicating the positions of the key contacts 50, said icons 31 further indicating the function of the respective key contacts 50. The elastic panel 30 is mounted to the front frame 20, and the front frame 20 is further fixed to the body 40. After the installation, the elastic panel 30 is installed between the main body 40 and the front frame 20, the icons 31 on the elastic panel 30 correspond to the key contacts 50 higher than the front cover 43 one by one, and the display unit 44 on the main body 40 is not shielded by the elastic panel 30 because it is a transparent panel.
The electronic picture frame 10 further includes a plurality of stoppers 42, which are located between every two key contacts 50, and divide the flexible panel 30 into portions corresponding to the key contacts 50 one by one and capable of being independently pressed. When a portion of the elastic panel 30, where the icon 31 is marked, is pressed, the corresponding key contact 50 is pressed accordingly to be turned on, thereby completing the key input operation, and the other portion is not pressed accordingly, thereby ensuring that the other key contacts 50 are not turned on erroneously.
In the present embodiment, the front frame 20 is formed with a notch 21, and the periphery of the elastic panel 30 is protruded outward with a protrusion 32 corresponding to the notch 21 of the front frame 20. The elastic panel 30 is defined between the body 40 and the front frame 20 by the engagement of the protrusion 32 and the notch 21. The front frame 20 is mounted to the body 40 by means of a snap (not shown) and a catch 41 located on the body 40. The stopper 42 is a projection formed on the front cover 43. The bump 42 is located approximately in the middle between the two contacts 50 and has a height equal to or slightly less than the height of the key contact 50.
In other embodiments, the flexible panel 30 may be partially transparent, in the portion corresponding to the display unit 44, and opaque in other portions; or opaque and an opening is formed at a portion corresponding to the display unit 44 so as not to shield the display unit 44.
The elastic panel 30 may be mounted on the front frame 20 in a different manner from the aforementioned structure. For example, a plurality of L-shaped hooks may be formed on the front frame 20, and the elastic panel 30 is inserted into the L-shaped hooks, so as to be mounted on the front frame 20. Meanwhile, the L-shaped hooks can be respectively located between the two contacts 50, thereby functioning as the stoppers 42, and dividing the elastic panel 30 into portions corresponding to the key contacts 50 one by one and capable of being independently pressed, respectively.

- The electronic device with panel type keys according to claim 1, which comprises a body, and is characterized by further comprisingA front frame mounted on the body;an elastic panel, it locates between front frame and body;a plurality of key contacts located under the elastic panel;a plurality of stoppers respectively located between the two key contacts, and partitioning the elastic panel into a plurality of independently depressible portions corresponding to the key contacts; wherein,when the corresponding portion of the elastic panel is pressed, the corresponding key contact is opened.
- The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein said elastic panel is a polygonal panel, and said contacts are mounted at positions corresponding to corners of said polygonal panel.
- The electronic device with a face plate key of claim 1, wherein the stop is a bump formed on the surface of the body.
- The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein said stop member is an L-shaped hook formed on the front frame, and said elastic panel is snapped into said L-shaped hook.
- The electronic device with a face plate key of claim 1, wherein said stop is located approximately in the middle between two contacts.
- The electronic device with face plate keys of claim 3, wherein the height of the bumps is equal to or slightly less than the height of the contacts.
- The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein icons are marked on the elastic panel corresponding to the contacts to indicate the positions and functions of the contacts.
- The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the elastic panel has a plurality of protrusions protruding outward from the periphery thereof, and the front frame has a notch formed therein for receiving the protrusions.
