技术领域
本公开涉及一种水性个人护理组合物,具体地,涉及包含具有优化的取代度(DS)的羧甲基纤维素(CMC)的护肤组合物及其制备方法。
背景技术
通常,个人护理产品用于改善的保湿、吸收、感觉良好的因素或增强的外观。还希望这些产品在性质上应不粘腻,耐不同温度,提供不同程度的柔润性,并保持水分。此外,护理产品应当表现出良好的流变性(即以正确的方式流动)、易于拿起或擦到皮肤上。许多天然和合成聚合物已用于改善个人护理产品的流变性。溶液中聚合物的粘度和取代度(DS)决定了它们的功能性。羧甲基纤维素(CMC)具有宽范围的分子量、粘度等级,并且是无嗅、无味且化学稳定的。CMC的物理性质,特别是粘度和溶解度,在很大程度上取决于取代度(反应性羧甲基基团的数量和取代基基团的性质)。CMC发挥了稳定剂、保护性胶体、填充剂和保水剂的功能。化妆品成分审查(CIR)专家组审查了现有的CMC毒理学数据,并得出了CMC作为化妆品成分是安全的结论。

已转让给CP Kelco OY的美国专利第9,181,659号公开了具有小于约0.9的DS的羧甲基碱溶液,用于高固体纸张涂料和阻隔材料。
然而,羧甲基纤维素(CMC)的取代度越低,在水中的溶解度就越小。取代度越高,使用CMC制备的乳剂或悬浮剂就越不稳定。在这种情况下,乳剂稳定性和流变行为受到影响,使得该产品不太适合个人护理应用。因此,本领域需要一种具有优化的取代度的羧甲基纤维素的个人护理乳剂或悬浮剂,其中其在水溶液中的溶解度和稳定性不会受到影响。

如本文所用,术语“黄原胶”是指在工业上能够改变液体流变性的多糖胶。任何可商购的黄原胶都可以用于本发明。合适的商业黄原胶包括但不限于Xanthan(来自Kelco的)或(来自R.T.Vanderbilt)。
合成流变改性剂(如卡波姆(carbomer))传统上用于有效地增稠和稳定具有吸引人的美感的护肤乳剂。现有的天然流变改性剂通常具有非常差的美感,使得很难创造出消费者想要开发的天然的、可持续的制剂,通过我们在可持续来源的纤维素方面的市场领先的专业知识,结合我们的流变改性经验,本发明人试图引入一种可持续的替代品。

CMC是一种可生物降解的、高度相容的阴离子聚合物,其通过用羧甲基醚基团取代纤维素分子中的至少一部分羟基而由纤维素(天然来源于棉绒、木浆或其他纤维素化合物)获得。
羧甲基纤维素是通过纤维素与单氯乙酸钠的碱化反应获得的商业(CMC),其取代度(DS)在0.4至1.3的范围中。DS高于0.4的CMC是完全可溶解的,并且CMC的亲水性(hydroaffinity)随着DS的增加而增加,而这种聚合物在DS低于0.4时是可溶胀但不可溶解的。
在另一个非限制性实施方案中,本发明的纤维素是纤维素的聚羧基甲基醚,并且在碱性溶液中自发地转化成钠盐(CMC钠)。纤维素胶(即羧甲基纤维素钠)的取代度在0.5至0.7的范围中。根据生物降解能力标准,OECD指南,301D试验,具有相似结构和物理性质的CMC在28天后观察到的生物降解为71%。本发明的“纤维素胶”是一种被评估为易于生物降解的生物纤维素。
羧甲基纤维素以总个人护理组合物的约0.1重量%至约10.0重量%的浓度范围存在。天然衍生聚合物或化石衍生聚合物以总个人护理组合物的约0.01重量%至约10.0重量%的浓度范围存在。该护理组合物另外包含0.01重量%至10重量%的护理添加物和水。
在另一个非限制性实施方案中,低取代羧甲基纤维素以固体颗粒或粉末的形式存在,在1%水性溶液中具有平均粘度范围为约2500至约8500cps、或约8500至16000cps、或约16000至约120000cps的高粘度,如通过Brookfield,转子A,速度5所测量)。
纤维素化合物的分子量通过GPC/SEC分析来确定。凝胶渗透色谱(GPC),也称为尺寸排阻色谱(SEC),是表征聚合物分子量、平均分子量和分子量分布的重要工具。出于本发明的目的,所有分子量都以重均分子量(Mw)给出,且以道尔顿(Da)计。在本发明的实施方案中,羧甲基纤维素的重均分子量将在约1000,000至约2000,000道尔顿的范围中。
本发明组合物中使用的天然衍生聚合物可选自包括但不限于以下的组:黄原胶、瓜尔胶、角豆胶、魔芋胶、小核菌胶、阿拉伯胶、纤维素胶、普鲁兰多糖、微晶纤维素、羧甲基淀粉钠、羟丙基淀粉磷酸酯、疏水改性的羟乙基纤维素(HMHEC)例如鲸蜡硬脂基(cetearyl)羟乙基纤维素、刺云实胶、卡拉胶、脱氢黄原胶、改性马铃薯淀粉、葡甘露聚糖、硅酸镁铝、膨润土、改性玉米淀粉、聚酯基聚合物和结冷胶。优选地,天然衍生聚合物是黄原胶。黄原胶是一种以多聚葡萄糖作为主要的聚合物主链的多糖,其具有3-单元乙酰化侧链,包括葡萄糖、葡萄糖醛酸(通常作为混合的钾盐、钠盐和钙盐存在)和甘露糖残基。黄原胶聚合物通常获自细菌发酵,特别是野油菜黄单胞菌(Xanthomonas campestris)和相关微生物的发酵。

此外,化石衍生聚合物包括内酰胺,但不限于N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮、N-乙烯基己内酰胺、N-甲基-吡咯烷酮、N-羟甲基吡咯烷酮、N-羟乙基吡咯烷酮和N-羟丙基吡咯烷酮。代表性的酸酐包括甲酸酐、琥珀酸酐、马来酸酐和乙酸酐。优选的化石衍生聚合物包括用癸二烯和聚丙烯酸交联的甲基乙烯基醚/马来酸酐共聚物。
本发明组合物中使用的合适的防腐剂可以是选自包括肉桂醛、有机酸、覆盆子酮、麝香草酚、丁香酚、柠檬醛、单月桂酸甘油酯、山竹醇、和凹叶厚朴(Magnolia officinalis)的超临界流体提取物(包括木兰醇和和厚朴酚)的组的天然防腐剂,或选自包括对羟基苯甲酸酯类、苯氧乙醇、甲醛、氯化鲸蜡基吡啶苄索氯铵、苯扎氯铵、聚氨基丙基双胍、2-溴-2-硝基-1,3-二醇、丁基氨基甲酸碘丙炔基酯(IPBC)、咪唑烷基脲、双咪唑烷基脲、苯甲醇中的苯甲酸和山梨酸的组的合成防腐剂。对羟基苯甲酸酯类包括对羟基苯甲酸甲酯、对羟基苯甲酸乙酯和对羟基苯甲酸丙酯。
本发明组合物中使用的合适的表面活性剂可以是本质上天然的和合成的非离子型或离子型。非离子型表面活性剂包括烷基多苷,其也称为“APG”。烷基多苷是天然来源的表面活性剂,主要包含淀粉和椰子油;并且是100%可生物降解的。
本发明组合物中使用的合适的保湿剂包括二醇类、丙三醇类(glycerols)、丙二醇、二甘醇单乙醚、山梨醇、焦谷氨酸钠盐、丙三醇(glycerol)、丙三醇衍生物、甘油(glycerin)、海藻糖、山梨醇、麦芽糖醇、二丙二醇、1,3-丁二醇、透明质酸钠等。
从天然来源或合成来源获得的香精或芳香剂可用于本发明的个人护理组合物中。芳香剂可以与合适的溶剂、稀释剂或载体一起使用。芳香剂可以以任何常规已知的方法加入,例如,与组合物混合或与用于形成组合物的其他成分混合,以被发现可用于增加或赋予消毒剂或清洁组合物所需的香味特征的量加入。用于本申请的芳香剂可以是选自以下化合物的非限制性组的一种或多种,例如精油、净油、树脂状物质(resinoids)、树脂、冷凝脂、烃类、醇类、醛类、酮类、醚类、酸类、酯类、缩醛类、缩酮类、腈类,包括饱和化合物和不饱和化合物以及脂肪族化合物、羧基化合物和杂环化合物。本申请中使用的优选香精或芳香剂包括香茅醇、己基肉桂醛、柠檬烯、素馨花(Jasminum grandiflorum flower)提取物、香叶醇和芳樟醇。

本发明的羧甲基纤维素钠盐(在本文中称为纤维素胶)是天然衍生的、可生物降解的增稠剂,其具有保持皮肤和防晒用的霜剂、洗剂和凝胶剂的稳定性的悬浮能力,具有期望的肤感和质地,提供了卡波姆的替代品。它具有>84%的天然衍生成分含量,易于生物降解,经COSMOS-验证,非GMO,适合纯素食者,干净,简单的INCI可持续来源:来自零毁林行为的FSC和PEFC认证供应商的木质纤维素。
本发明的纤维素胶带来了多种益处,包括:(i)有效的增稠和悬浮特性:有效的增稠、悬浮能力,乳剂稳定剂,并且能够形成清澈的(clear)的配方;(ii)期望的肤感和质地:与最常见的天然增稠剂相比,令人愉快的使用后肤感,改善的美感;(iii)配方多功能性:耐电解质和矿物质,在宽的pH范围(4-8)有效,无需中和,可冷加工,与其他天然衍生聚合物相容。所有这些特征使得本发明的纤维素胶成为配方师的优选选择。已经观察到了在免洗型护肤和护发应用中的极好的结果。

8.根据权利要求1所述的水性个人护理组合物,其中所述组合物是乳剂、分散剂、悬浮剂、洗剂、霜剂、泡沫剂、喷剂、凝胶剂、条皂剂、棒剂、膜剂、垫剂或贴剂。
9.根据权利要求8所述的水性个人护理组合物,其中
所述乳剂是水包油乳剂或油包水乳剂;以及
所述悬浮剂是珠悬浮剂或粉末悬浮剂。
10.根据权利要求9所述的水性个人护理组合物,其中所述水包油乳剂是凝胶剂、身体洗剂、软身体霜、天然光感精华、天然海洋保湿剂、冷冻膜剂、层状凝胶面霜、清洁型泥膜剂、半固体霜剂、矿物基防晒霜剂、日新防晒霜剂、液体剂、面部洗剂、粉底霜剂或睫毛膏制剂。
11.根据权利要求10所述的水性个人护理组合物,其中所述凝胶剂是稳定的,赋予高粘度并为消费者带来美感。
12.根据权利要求1所述的水性个人护理组合物,其中将所述个人护理组合物配制成护发品、洗发剂、发调理剂、免洗型调理剂、发定型组合物、烫发品、发松弛剂、直发剂、喷发胶和喷发定型剂、永久性染发体系、发定型摩丝、发胶、半永久性染发体系、临时性染发体系、漂发体系、永久性烫发体系、发定型制剂、液体皂剂、条皂剂、芳香和/或有气味的成分组成的制品、除臭和止汗制品、身体油剂、身体洗剂、身体凝胶剂、治疗霜剂、身体清洁品、皮肤保护软膏剂、剃须和须后制品、爽肤粉、唇膏、粉底、甲油、眼影、睫毛膏、干性和湿性化妆品、胭脂、粉剂、脱毛剂、免洗型皮肤洗剂和霜剂、沐浴凝胶剂、卫生间条形皂、无阳光美黑剂、防晒洗剂、防晒喷剂、防晒霜剂、发定型凝胶剂、精华、膜剂、防晒洗剂、洁齿剂和牙膏。
13.根据权利要求1所述的水性个人护理组合物,其中所述低取代羧甲基纤维素是易于生物降解的,根据OECD测试方法-301D所表征的,其在28天后生物降解71%。
14.一种制备水性个人护理组合物的方法,所述方法包括:
(a)考虑包含单独的权利要求1(a)的低取代羧甲基纤维素(CMC)或包含所述低取代羧甲基纤维素与至少一种天然衍生聚合物或至少一种化石衍生聚合物的组合的粉末颗粒;
(b)在连续混合下将所述粉末分散在水中;
(c)对混合溶液进行加热,以便更快地处理;以及
(d)获得均质的水性组合物。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述均质的水性组合物是水包油乳剂或油包水乳剂。
16.一种水性护肤乳剂组合物,其包含:
(a)单独的0.1重量%至10重量%的权利要求1(a)的低取代羧甲基纤维素(CMC),或0.1重量%至10重量%的所述低取代羧甲基纤维素与0.01重量%至10重量%的至少一种天然衍生聚合物或至少一种化石衍生聚合物的组合;
(b)0.01重量%至60重量%的至少一种护肤添加物;和
(c)水;
其中,所述低取代羧甲基纤维素具有的每葡糖酐单元的平均羧甲基取代度(DS)在约0.5至约0.7的范围中;其中,所述低取代羧甲基纤维素是易于生物降解的。
17.根据权利要求16所述的水性护肤组合物,其中所述乳剂是水包油乳剂或油包水乳剂。
18.根据权利要求16所述的水性护肤乳剂,其中所述护肤添加物选自维生素B化合物、维生素E化合物、维生素C化合物、维生素D化合物、肽、糖胺、蛋白酶抑制剂、防晒剂、脱屑剂、螯合剂、亮肤化合物、非维生素抗氧化剂自由基清除剂、植物甾醇、植物激素、蛋白酶抑制剂、酪氨酸酶抑制剂、抗炎剂、局部麻醉剂、抗脂肪团剂、无阳光美黑剂、N-酰基氨基酸化合物、防腐剂、防腐促进剂、甘油、乙二醇、它们的衍生物及其混合物。
