Abstract
本发明提供一种异形显示装置。该异形显示装置包括:异形的衬底基板、设于衬底基板上的电路层、覆盖电路层及衬底基板的绝缘层以及设于绝缘层上的显示层;衬底基板包括位于衬底基板中部的第一区域及围绕第一区域的第二区域,电路层设于第一区域内,显示层设于第一区域及第二区域内;电路层包括GOA电路及位于GOA电路两侧的像素电路,像素电路包括阵列排布的多个驱动单元,显示层包括均匀排列的多个OLED,绝缘层对应每一个OLED设有一过孔,每一个OLED对应通过一个过孔电性连接一个驱动单元,每一个驱动单元均电性连接GOA电路,通过将GOA电路及像素电路集中设置在矩形的第一区域中,能够简化电路结构,实现无边框显示。

技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种异形显示装置。
背景技术
有机发光二极管显示器件(Organic Light Emitting Display,OLED)由于同时具备自发光,不需背光源、对比度高、厚度薄、视角广、反应速度快、可用于挠曲性面板、使用温度范围广、构造及制程较简单等优异特性,被认为是下一代平面显示器的新兴应用技术。
OLED显示器件通常包括:基板、设于基板上的阳极、设于阳极上的空穴注入层、设于空穴注入层上的空穴传输层、设于空穴传输层上的发光层、设于发光层上的电子传输层、设于电子传输层上的电子注入层、及设于电子注入层上的阴极。OLED显示器件的发光原理为半导体材料和有机发光材料在电场驱动下,通过载流子注入和复合导致发光。具体的,OLED显示器件通常采用ITO像素电极和金属电极分别作为器件的阳极和阴极,在一定电压驱动下,电子和空穴分别从阴极和阳极注入到电子传输层和空穴传输层,电子和空穴分别经过电子传输层和空穴传输层迁移到发光层,并在发光层中相遇,形成激子并使发光分子激发,后者经过辐射弛豫而发出可见光。
随着显示技术的不断发展,显示产品也越来越多样化,显示产品的形状也不再局限于矩形,各种非矩形的异形显示装置也已经在市场上大量出现,如图1所示,现有的一种异形显示装置包括异形的衬底基板100、设于所述衬底基板100上的显示区200、围绕所述显示区200设置的阵列基板行驱动(Gate Drive on Array,GOA)电路300以及设于所述衬底基板100一侧的源极驱动器400,在该异形显示装置中GOA电路300绕着所述衬底基板100的边缘布置,由于衬底基板100为异形结构,这种布置方式将导致GOA电路300的绕线十分复杂,同时GOA电路300与显示区200之间的连接也十分复杂,布线难度较大,并且存在明显的边框,不利于产品窄边框或无边框的实现。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供异形显示装置,能够简化异形显示装置的电路结构,实现无边框显示。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种异形显示装置,包括:异形的衬底基板、设于所述衬底基板上的电路层、覆盖所述电路层及衬底基板的绝缘层以及设于所述绝缘层上的显示层;
所述衬底基板包括位于所述衬底基板中部的第一区域及围绕所述第一区域的第二区域,所述电路层设于所述第一区域内,所述显示层设于所述第一区域及第二区域内;
所述电路层包括GOA电路及位于所述GOA电路两侧的像素电路,所述像素电路包括阵列排布的多个驱动单元,所述显示层包括均匀排列的多个OLED,所述绝缘层对应每一个OLED设有一过孔,每一个OLED对应通过一个过孔电性连接一个驱动单元,每一个驱动单元均电性连接所述GOA电路。
每一个OLED均包括设于所述绝缘层上的阳极和阳极连接线、设于所述阳极上的发光层及设于所述发光层上的阴极,所述阳极与阳极连接线电性连接,所述阳极连接线经由相应的过孔电性连接该OLED对应的驱动单元。
所述GOA电路包括依次排列的多个扫描信号输出端,每一行驱动单元均对应电性连接一个扫描信号输出端。
所述异形显示装置还包括设于所述衬底基板的一侧的源极驱动器,每一个驱动单元均电性连接所述源极驱动器。
所述源极驱动器包括依次排列的多个数据信号输出端,每一列驱动单元均对应电性连接一个数据信号输出端。
每一个驱动单元均包括第一薄膜晶体管、第二薄膜晶体管及电容;
所述第一薄膜晶体管的栅极电性连接GOA电路,源极电性连接源极驱动器,漏极电性连接第二薄膜晶体管的栅极;
所述第二薄膜晶体管的源极接收电源电压,漏极电性连接OLED;
所述电容的两端分别电性连接第二薄膜晶体管的栅极和漏极。
所述衬底基板的形状为由第一弧线、第一直线、第二直线、第二弧线及第三直线围成的一个封闭图案,其中第一直线与第二直线相连,所述第三直线与所述第一直线相对间隔,第一弧线连接第一直线与第三直线,第二弧线连接第二直线与第三直线。
所述第一直线与第二直线垂直。
所述阳极为反射电极,所述阴极为透明电极。
所述第一区域为矩形。
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供一种异形显示装置,包括:异形的衬底基板、设于所述衬底基板上的电路层、覆盖所述电路层及衬底基板的绝缘层以及设于所述绝缘层上的显示层;所述衬底基板包括位于所述衬底基板中部的矩形的第一区域及围绕所述第一区域的第二区域,所述电路层设于所述第一区域内,所述显示层设于所述第一区域及第二区域内;所述电路层包括GOA电路及位于所述GOA电路两侧的像素电路,所述像素电路包括阵列排布的多个驱动单元,所述显示层包括均匀排列的多个OLED,所述绝缘层对应每一个OLED设有一过孔,每一个OLED对应通过一个过孔电性连接一个驱动单元,每一个驱动单元均电性连接所述GOA电路,通过将GOA电路及像素电路集中设置在矩形的第一区域中,能够简化异形显示装置的电路结构,实现无边框显示。

为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图2,本发明提供一种异形显示装置,包括:异形的衬底基板1、设于所述衬底基板1上的电路层2、覆盖所述电路层2及衬底基板1的绝缘层3以及设于所述绝缘层3上的显示层4。
具体地,如图3及图4所示,所述衬底基板1包括位于所述衬底基板1中部第一区域11及围绕所述第一区域11的第二区域12,所述电路层2设于所述第一区域11内,所述显示层4设于所述第一区域11及第二区域12内。
优选地,所述第一区域11位于所述衬底基板1的正中,且所述第一区域11为矩形。
进一步地,如图3及图4所示,所述电路层2包括GOA电路21及位于所述GOA电路21两侧的像素电路22,所述像素电路22包括阵列排布的多个驱动单元221,所述显示层4包括均匀排列的多个OLED 41,结合图5及图6,所述绝缘层3对应每一个OLED 41设有一过孔31,每一个OLED 41对应通过一个过孔31电性连接一个驱动单元221,每一个驱动单元221均电性连接所述GOA电路21。
具体地,异形显示装置还包括设于所述衬底基板1的一侧的源极驱动器5,每一个驱动单元221均电性连接所述源极驱动器5,优选地,所述源极驱动器5采用覆晶薄膜(ChipOn Film,COF)结构。
其中,所述GOA电路21用于向所述驱动单元221提供扫描信号,所述源极驱动器5用于向所述驱动单元221提供数据信号,所述驱动单元221用于在所述扫描信号的控制下降数据信号写入OLED 41中,以驱动所述OLED 41发光,以实现画面显示。
具体地,所述GOA电路21包括依次排列的多个扫描信号输出端,每一行驱动单元221均对应电性连接一个扫描信号输出端,所述源极驱动器5包括依次排列的多个数据信号输出端,每一列驱动单元221均对应电性连接一个数据信号输出端,其中,所述多个扫描信号输出端沿所述驱动单元221的列方向依次排列,所述多个数据信号输出端沿所述驱动单元221的行方向依次排列。
需要说明的是,本发明通过将所有OLED 41的驱动单元221集中矩形的第一区域11内,将GOA电路21设置在第一区域11的中央,从而使得GOA电路21与驱动单元221之间的能够按照常规矩形的显示面板的连接方式进行连接,无需围绕异形显示面板的边缘进行设置,从而有效简化GOA电路21与驱动单元221之间的连接结构,降低面板的布线难度,与此同时,OLED41可以整面覆盖所述异形显示装置,使得所述异形显示装置在除设置有源极驱动器5的一侧以外其余侧均实现无边框显示。
具体地,不同于现有技术,本发明中,显示层41覆盖的面积大于电路层21覆盖的面积,因此,在本发明中OLED 41与驱动单元221的位置不是完全对应的,两者之间需要通过阳极连接线412进行连接,具体如图5及图6所示,每一个OLED 41均包括设于所述绝缘层3上的阳极411和阳极连接线412、设于所述阳极411上的发光层413及设于所述发光层413上的阴极414,所述阳极411与阳极连接线412电性连接,所述阳极连接线412经由相应的过孔31电性连接该OLED 41对应的驱动单元221。
具体地,在本发明的实施例中,所述驱动单元221具体电路结构,可以根据需要进行选择,典型电路如图7所示,每一个驱动单元221均包括第一薄膜晶体管T1、第二薄膜晶体管T2及电容C1;
所述第一薄膜晶体管T1的栅极电性连接GOA电路21,源极电性连接源极驱动器5,漏极电性连接第二薄膜晶体管T2的栅极;
所述第二薄膜晶体管T2的源极接收电源电压OVDD,漏极电性连接OLED41;
所述电容C1的两端分别电性连接第二薄膜晶体管T2的栅极和漏极。
具体地,在本发明的实施例中,所述衬底基板的形状可以根据需要进行选择,典型形状如图8所示,所述衬底基板1的形状为由第一弧线61、第一直线62、第二直线63、第二弧线64及第三直线65围成的一个封闭图案,其中第一直线62与第二直线63相连,所述第三直线65与所述第一直线62相对间隔,第一弧线61连接第一直线62与第三直线65,第二弧线64连接第二直线63与第三直线65,其中,所述第一直线62与第二直线63垂直。
需要说明的是,本发明中的OLED 41均为顶发光器件,也即所述阳极411为反射电极,所述阴极414为透明电极,每一OLED41均向远离衬底基板1的一侧发光,OLED 41下方的电路层21的结构,不会影响OLED41的正常显示,优选地,所述阳极411的材料为银,所述阴极414的材料为氧化铟锡。
综上所述,本发明提供一种异形显示装置,包括:异形的衬底基板、设于所述衬底基板上的电路层、覆盖所述电路层及衬底基板的绝缘层以及设于所述绝缘层上的显示层;所述衬底基板包括位于所述衬底基板中部的第一区域及围绕所述第一区域的第二区域,所述电路层设于所述第一区域内,所述显示层设于所述第一区域及第二区域内;所述电路层包括GOA电路及位于所述GOA电路两侧的像素电路,所述像素电路包括阵列排布的多个驱动单元,所述显示层包括均匀排列的多个OLED,所述绝缘层对应每一个OLED设有一过孔,每一个OLED对应通过一个过孔电性连接一个驱动单元,每一个驱动单元均电性连接所述GOA电路,通过将GOA电路及像素电路集中设置在矩形的第一区域中,能够简化异形显示装置的电路结构,实现无边框显示。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。
Claims (10)
1.一种异形显示装置,其特征在于,包括:异形的衬底基板(1)、设于所述衬底基板(1)上的电路层(2)、覆盖所述电路层(2)及衬底基板(1)的绝缘层(3)以及设于所述绝缘层(3)上的显示层(4);
所述衬底基板(1)包括位于所述衬底基板(1)中部的第一区域(11)及围绕所述第一区域(11)的第二区域(12),所述电路层(2)设于所述第一区域(11)内,所述显示层(4)设于所述第一区域(11)及第二区域(12)内;
所述电路层(2)包括GOA电路(21)及位于所述GOA电路(21)两侧的像素电路(22),所述像素电路(22)包括阵列排布的多个驱动单元(221),所述显示层(4)包括均匀排列的多个OLED(41),所述绝缘层(3)对应每一个OLED(41)设有一过孔(31),每一个OLED(41)对应通过一个过孔(31)电性连接一个驱动单元(221),每一个驱动单元(221)均电性连接所述GOA电路(21)。
2.如权利要求1所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,每一个OLED(41)均包括设于所述绝缘层(3)上的阳极(411)和阳极连接线(412)、设于所述阳极(411)上的发光层(413)及设于所述发光层(413)上的阴极(414),所述阳极(411)与阳极连接线(412)电性连接,所述阳极连接线(412)经由相应的过孔(31)电性连接该OLED(41)对应的驱动单元(221)。
3.如权利要求1所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,所述GOA电路(21)包括依次排列的多个扫描信号输出端,每一行驱动单元(221)均对应电性连接一个扫描信号输出端。
4.如权利要求1所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,还包括设于所述衬底基板(1)的一侧的源极驱动器(5),每一个驱动单元(221)均电性连接所述源极驱动器(5)。
5.如权利要求4所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,所述源极驱动器(5)包括依次排列的多个数据信号输出端,每一列驱动单元(221)均对应电性连接一个数据信号输出端。
6.如权利要求4所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,每一个驱动单元(221)均包括第一薄膜晶体管(T1)、第二薄膜晶体管(T2)及电容(C1);
所述第一薄膜晶体管(T1)的栅极电性连接GOA电路(21),源极电性连接源极驱动器(5),漏极电性连接第二薄膜晶体管(T2)的栅极;
所述第二薄膜晶体管(T2)的源极接收电源电压(OVDD),漏极电性连接OLED(41);
所述电容(C1)的两端分别电性连接第二薄膜晶体管(T2)的栅极和漏极。
7.如权利要求1所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,所述衬底基板(1)的形状为由第一弧线(61)、第一直线(62)、第二直线(63)、第二弧线(64)及第三直线(65)围成的一个封闭图案,其中第一直线(62)与第二直线(63)相连,所述第三直线(65)与所述第一直线(62)相对间隔,第一弧线(61)连接第一直线(62)与第三直线(65),第二弧线(64)连接第二直线(63)与第三直线(65)。
8.如权利要求7述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,所述第一直线(62)与第二直线(63)垂直。
9.如权利要求2所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,所述阳极(411)为反射电极,所述阴极(414)为透明电极。
10.如权利要求9所述的异形显示装置,其特征在于,所述第一区域(11)为矩形。
