In the existing hearing tests, the patient usually waits until the hearing impairment is detected, and then goes to a hearing test institution or a large hospital to confirm whether the hearing impairment is detected. The hearing aid selection, setting, fine tuning to the satisfaction of the patient requires a complicated evaluation and is rather time, physical and money consuming. In addition, the control, fine-tuning and testing of the hearing test device can be easily and quickly operated and utilized only by a trained hearing person, and the patient usually cannot self-test the hearing condition and adjust the parameters of the hearing aid. Furthermore, since the hearing test device is a relatively precise instrument and is not affordable for general users at the selling price, the patient usually cannot purchase the hearing test device to perform hearing test and adjustment of the hearing aid at any time.
In the application of hearing test systems, standard test equipment is usually needed, for example: however, since there are many earphone sets on the market and different earphone sets have different responses in terms of audio frequency and characteristics, the situation that the hearing can not be accurately detected by self is caused, so that popularization of the hearing detection device is more difficult to implement.
Therefore, how to design a hearing test device and an operation method thereof, the hearing test device can self-correct the test equipment to increase the test accuracy. Specifically, when the port of the electronic device 20 is coupled to the port 142 of the hearing test device 10, the control unit 14 detects whether the port of the electronic device 20 is a Type-C USB port, and when the control unit 14 detects that the electronic device 20 is coupled to the port 142 through the Type-C USB port, the control unit 14 controls the switching unit 149 not to bypass the first converting unit 144, and the first converting unit 144 converts the sound playing signal Sv into the testing signal Sd and outputs the testing signal Sd to the hearing test unit 12. When the control unit 14 detects that the electronic device 20 is not coupled to the port 142 through the Type-C USB port, the control unit 14 controls the switching unit 149 to switch to the bypass path Pb to bypass the first switching unit 144. At this time, the sound playing signal Sv is the detection signal Sd, and the electronic device 20 directly outputs the sound playing signal Sv to the hearing detecting unit 12 through the bypass path Pb.
Referring to FIG. 4, a flow chart of a method of operating a hearing test system incorporating the hearing test device of the present invention is shown. When the hearing test device 10 is coupled to the electronic device 20, the control unit 14 of the hearing test device 10 first detects whether the electronic device 20 is coupled to the port 142 through the Type-C USB port. When the electronic device 20 is coupled to the port 142 through the USB port of Type-C, the control unit 14 controls the switching unit 149 not to bypass the first switching unit 144, and when the electronic device 20 is not coupled to the port 142 through the USB port of Type-C, the control unit 14 controls the switching unit 149 to switch to the bypass path Pb to bypass the first switching unit 144. Then, the electronic device downloads the operation interface from the remote server, step S120. After the user downloads and installs the operation interface 22, the user can control the hearing test device 10 to perform a hearing test on the user. Then, the operation interface obtains the device serial number from the hearing test device, and adjusts and outputs the sound playing signal according to the device serial number to perform hearing test on the user, step S140. After the hearing test apparatus 10 is coupled to the electronic apparatus 20, the operation interface 22 obtains the unique apparatus serial number 1482 of the hearing test apparatus 10 from the identification unit 148, and the operation interface 22 downloads the apparatus characteristic data representing the type of the hearing test apparatus 12 from the remote server 30 according to the unique apparatus serial number 1482, and compensates and adjusts the sound playing signal Sv according to the apparatus characteristic data. The control unit 14 of the hearing test apparatus 10 converts the sound playing signal Sv into the test signal Sd, and the hearing test unit 12 of the hearing test apparatus 10 performs hearing test on the user. Finally, the operation interface outputs the result of the hearing test, and the hearing test device stores the result of the hearing test in the hearing aid unit, step S160. When the user hears the detection signal Sd by the hearing detection unit 12, the heard content is input to the electronic device 20 depending on the heard content. Until the test is completed, the electronic device 20 can obtain the hearing curve data of the two ears of the user as the result of the hearing test of the hearing status of the user. If the user finds out that the hearing is impaired from the result of the hearing test, the test result can be stored in the hearing aid unit 16 of the hearing test apparatus 10 to compensate for the defect caused by the hearing impairment of the user. The user control electronics 20 convert the result of the hearing test into a hearing signal Sh and output the hearing signal Sh to the control unit 14. The control unit 14 converts the hearing signal Sh into hearing data Ih and outputs the hearing data Ih to the hearing aid unit 16. The hearing aid unit 16 stores the hearing data Ih of the user, and compensates the defect caused by the hearing impairment of the user according to the hearing data Ih of the user. It should be noted that, in the present invention, the step S120 includes downloading, installing and starting the operation interface 22, but the step S120 is not limited to be executed after the step S100 is executed. In other words, the user may download and execute the installation and activation of the operation interface 22 from the remote server 30 before the hearing test device 10 is coupled to the electronic device 20.
In summary, one or more embodiments of the invention have at least one of the following advantages:
