The invention discloses a handle assembly for a refrigerator, which comprises a first aluminum piece and a second aluminum piece extending along the same lengthwise direction, and two plastic connecting pieces which are positioned at two opposite ends of the first aluminum piece and the second aluminum piece and are connected with the first aluminum piece and the second aluminum piece, wherein the first aluminum piece comprises an upper plate, a lower plate and a middle plate connected with the upper plate and the lower plate, the upper plate and the lower plate are positioned at two sides of the middle plate, the second aluminum piece comprises a mounting plate connected with the plastic connecting pieces, a holding plate forming an angle with the middle plate, and a connecting plate connected with the mounting plate and the holding plate, the lower plate is abutted against the mounting plate, the holding plate, the lower plate and the middle plate jointly define a holding space for accommodating fingers of a user, and in the lengthwise direction, the first aluminum piece and the second aluminum piece are both protruded out of the plastic connecting pieces. The handle assembly has the advantages of strong strength, good texture, simple structure and low cost.

As a further improvement of the embodiment of the present invention, the handle assembly further includes two aluminum decoration parts respectively covering the outer sides of the two plastic connecting parts, the aluminum decoration parts are located between the first aluminum part and the second aluminum part, and the aluminum decoration parts completely cover the part of the plastic connecting part facing the holding plate.

In the preferred embodiment, since the first aluminum member 10 and the second aluminum member 12 extend along the longitudinal direction, the holding plate 24, the lower plate 18 and the middle plate 20 together define a holding space for accommodating the fingers of the user, and the first aluminum member 10 and the second aluminum member 12 both protrude from the plastic connecting member 14 along the longitudinal direction, so that the first aluminum member 10 and the second aluminum member 12 completely cover the plastic connecting member 14 along the longitudinal direction and on the side facing the user. So that the handle assembly 8 has strong strength and good texture. In addition, the handle is composed of two aluminum pieces including the first aluminum piece 10 and the second aluminum piece 12, the section structure of the aluminum pieces is simple, the process is easy to realize, and the manufacturing cost is low. Specifically, the aluminum garnish 28 includes a front decorative panel 30 flush with the grip panel 24. Therefore, the handle assembly 8 is more neat and beautiful overall. The aluminum decoration 28 further comprises a lower decoration plate 32, a left decoration plate and a right decoration plate 36 opposite to the left decoration plate, wherein the lower decoration plate 32 and the front decoration plate 30 are arranged at an angle, the left decoration plate and the right decoration plate 36 are connected through the lower decoration plate 32, the front decoration plate 30, the lower decoration plate 32, the left decoration plate and the right decoration plate 36 define an accommodating space together, and the plastic connecting piece 14 is partially accommodated in the accommodating space. After the handle assembly 8 is assembled on the refrigerator, the plastic connecting piece 14 is not exposed, and the whole exposed part of the handle assembly 8 is made of aluminum, so that the risk of paint falling is avoided, the whole appearance is more textured and has high grade, and the user experience is better.
Further, the lower decorative plate 32 is located inside the grip plate 24. And the front trim panel 30 extends from the junction of the upper panel 16 and the intermediate panel 20 all the way to interface with the grip panel 24.
The aluminum decoration 28 is provided with a clamping portion 38, and the first aluminum element 10 is provided with a clamping groove 40 matched and connected with the clamping portion 38. Thereby, the aluminum ornament 28 is reliably and stably connected to the first aluminum member 10, but other connection methods between the aluminum ornament 28 and the first aluminum member 10 can be adopted. When the engaging portion 38 is engaged with the engaging groove 40, the engaging portion 38 and the engaging groove 40 are installed in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction. So configured, the notch 40 is not visible when the aluminum trim 28 is assembled with the first aluminum member 10.

The plastic connecting piece 14 is provided with a mounting groove 48 for accommodating the mounting portion 42 and an abutting portion 50 which is arranged at one side of the mounting groove 48 and abuts against the mounting portion 42, and the abutting portion 50 is provided with a hole 52 for the first bolt 46 to pass through. This makes the entire handle assembly 8 simpler and more compact.
The second aluminum piece 12 and the plastic connecting piece 14 are connected by bolts. Specifically, the second aluminum member 12 is fixedly connected to the plastic connecting member 14 by a second bolt 54, and the screwing direction of the second bolt 54 is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Specifically, the mounting plate 22 of the second aluminum member 12 is provided with a through hole 56, and the second bolt 54 passes through the through hole 56 and is in threaded connection with the plastic connecting member 14.

A handle assembly for a refrigerator, the handle assembly comprising a first aluminum member and a second aluminum member extending in the same longitudinal direction, two plastic connectors located at opposite ends of the first aluminum member and the second aluminum member and connecting the first aluminum member and the second aluminum member, the first aluminum member and the second aluminum member being detachably connected by the two plastic connectors, the first aluminum member comprising an upper plate, a lower plate and a middle plate connecting the upper plate and the lower plate, the upper plate and the lower plate being located at both sides of the middle plate, the second aluminum member comprising a mounting plate connected to the plastic connectors, a grip plate angled to the middle plate, and a connecting plate connecting the mounting plate and the grip plate, the lower plate abutting against the mounting plate, a gap being provided between the grip plate and the middle plate, the grip plate, the lower plate and the middle plate together defining a grip space for accommodating a user, in the longitudinal direction, the first aluminum piece and the second aluminum piece protrude out of the plastic connecting piece, the handle assembly further comprises two aluminum decorating pieces which are respectively covered on the outer sides of the two plastic connecting pieces, and the aluminum decorating pieces completely cover the part, right facing the holding plate, of the plastic connecting piece.
2. The handle assembly of claim 1, wherein the aluminum trim piece includes a front trim panel flush with the grip panel.
