Abstract
本发明公开了一种纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制备方法,包括如下:1)将纳米颗粒均匀地分散在一定体积的溶剂中得到纳米颗粒混合液;2)将碳源置于纳米颗粒混合液中,通过毛细作用,纳米颗粒浸润至碳源中,干燥,并重复浸润、干燥数次,使碳源中保有一定量的纳米颗粒;3)将保有一定量纳米颗粒的碳源置于瓷舟中,在惰性气氛下进行高温煅烧后冷却,研磨后得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料。本发明采用简单的、可大规模生产的方法制备纳米颗粒/碳复合材料,并应用于电极的制作,操作简单、成本低廉,将得到的电极应用于电池,具有优异的电化学性能。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及到锂离子电池的技术领域,特别涉及到一种纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制作方法及其电极电池。
背景技术
锂离子电池因具有较高的能量密度和电压等优势而成为一种广泛应用的储能装置。锂离子电池主要由正极、负极、隔膜和电解液四大关键材料构成,其中电极材料的性能密切影响着锂离子电池的性能。
目前,锂离子电池广泛使用的正极材料按照物理结构来分,主要包括以钴酸锂(LiCoO2)、三元材料(LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2)等为代表的层状正极材料、以锰酸锂(LiMn2O4)为代表的尖晶石型正极材料、以磷酸铁锂(LiFePO4)为代表的橄榄石型正极材料等。负极材料按储锂机制来分,主要包括以下几类:1)石墨为代表的嵌入-脱出型;2)以硅为代表的合金化反应;3)以Fe2O3为代表的转换反应;4)以石墨烯为代表的贋电容式。其中,硅负极具有高的能量密度和丰富的地壳储量而成为极具前景的锂离子电池负极材料。与常规的石墨负极相比,硅负极的理论比容量为4200mAh/g,是石墨(372mAh/g)的十倍左右。所以硅有望成为高能量密度储能材料和汽车动力装置的锂离子电池的负极。但是硅在嵌锂过程中严重的体积膨胀效应,会引起合金的机械分裂(产生裂缝与粉化),导致材料结构的崩塌和电极材料的剥落而使电极材料失去电接触,从而造成SEI膜的破坏和电极的循环性能急剧下降。硅/碳复合是一种极其有效的改性方法,一方面碳可以增加电极的电子电导性,另一方面碳具有较强的机械应力可以缓冲体积膨胀、稳定SEI膜。如Hu Yi等采用纳米硅和聚丙烯腈与原料通过电纺制备了丝状硅/碳,并进一步用蔗糖作为碳源进行覆碳。该复合材料的循环和倍率性能均得到很大的改善。但是,该方法繁琐、产量较低、耗时较久,很难实现工业化生产。所以如何采用简单、操作性强的方法来大规模合成性能优异的复合材料极其重要。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提出一种纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制备方法及应用该材料制作的电极电池,制备纳米颗粒/碳复合材料操作简单,可大批量生产,且成本低廉,将得到的纳米颗粒/碳复合材料应用于电极电池的制作,工艺简单,得到的电极电池具有优异的电化学性能。
为此,本发明采用以下技术方案:
一种纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制备方法,包括如下:
1)将纳米颗粒均匀地分散在一定体积的溶剂中得到纳米颗粒混合液;
2)将碳源置于纳米颗粒混合液中,通过毛细作用,纳米颗粒浸润至碳源中,干燥,并重复浸润、干燥数次,使碳源中保有一定量的纳米颗粒;
3)将保有一定量纳米颗粒的碳源置于瓷舟中,在惰性气氛下进行高温煅烧后冷却,研磨后得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料。
优选的,所述纳米颗粒与碳的质量比可以通过毛细作用的次数进行控制。
本发明还提出一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,根据权利要求1所述的方法得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料,在所述纳米颗粒/碳复合材料中加入导电剂和黏结剂,搅拌均匀组成活性物质,涂覆在集流体上得到纳米颗粒/碳复合电极。
优选的,所述纳米颗粒/碳复合电极为正极,所述纳米颗粒为用于电池正极的活性纳米颗粒,包括纳米磷酸铁锂、纳米钴酸锂或者纳米锰酸锂。
优选的,所述纳米颗粒/碳复合电极为负极,所述纳米颗粒为用于电池负极的活性纳米颗粒,包括纳米硅、纳米金属氧化物或者钛酸锂。
优选的,所述碳源为能进行毛细吸附,且含有众多微小孔道的纤维状结构的物质,包括碳毡、宣纸、滤纸、无纺布或者木头。
优选的,所述集流体为Cu或Al箔。
优选的,所述导电剂为乙炔黑;所述粘结剂为CMC/SBR。
本发明还提出一种电池,包括正电极和负电极,所述正电极和负电极浸没在非水电解液中,并用隔膜隔开,所述电极采用上述方法任一方法所述的电极。
本发明采用以上技术方案,通过毛细浸润的方法能制备纳米颗粒/碳复合材料,操作简单,可大批量生产,且成本低廉,并将该方法所得的纳米颗粒/碳复合材料应用于电极的制作,由于在该复合材料中碳骨架一方面可以缓冲纳米颗粒体积的膨胀,另一方面减小了纳米颗粒与电解液的接触面积的作用,因此该电极表现出优异的循环稳定性。

具体实施方式
为了使本发明的目的、特征和优点更加的清晰,以下结合附图及实施例,对本发明的具体实施方式做出更为详细的说明,在下面的描述中,阐述了很多具体的细节以便于充分的理解本发明,但是本发明能够以很多不同于描述的其他方式来实施。因此,本发明不受以下公开的具体实施的限制。
一种纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制备方法,包括如下:
1)将纳米颗粒均匀地分散在一定体积的溶剂中得到纳米颗粒混合液;
2)将碳源置于纳米颗粒混合液中,通过毛细作用,纳米颗粒浸润至碳源中,干燥,并重复浸润、干燥数次,使碳源中保有一定量的纳米颗粒;
3)将保有一定量纳米颗粒的碳源置于瓷舟中,在惰性气氛下进行高温煅烧后冷却,研磨后得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料。
其中,所述纳米颗粒与碳的质量比可以通过毛细作用的次数进行控制。
本发明还提出一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,根据权利要求1所述的方法得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料,在所述纳米颗粒/碳复合材料中加入导电剂和黏结剂,搅拌均匀组成活性物质,涂覆在集流体上得到纳米颗粒/碳复合电极。
其中,所述纳米颗粒/碳复合电极为正极,所述纳米颗粒为用于电池正极的活性纳米颗粒,包括纳米磷酸铁锂、纳米钴酸锂或者纳米锰酸锂。
其中,所述纳米颗粒/碳复合电极为负极,所述纳米颗粒为用于电池负极的活性纳米颗粒,包括纳米硅、纳米金属氧化物或者钛酸锂。
其中,所述碳源为能进行毛细吸附,且含有众多微小孔道的纤维状结构的物质,包括碳毡、宣纸、滤纸、无纺布或者木头。
其中,所述集流体为Cu或Al箔。
其中,所述导电剂为乙炔黑;所述粘结剂为CMC/SBR。
本发明还提出一种电池,包括正电极和负电极,所述正电极和负电极浸没在非水电解液中,并用隔膜隔开,所述电极采用上述方法任一方法所述的电极。
其中,电解液包括电解质盐和有机溶剂及添加剂。其中电解质盐为选自六氟磷酸锂(LiPF6),四氟硼酸锂(LiBF4),六氟砷酸锂(LiAsF6),高氯酸锂(LiClO4),三氟甲磺酸锂(CF3SO3Li),双(三氟甲基)磺酰亚胺锂(LiN(S02CF3)2)中的一种以及它们的组合;其中有机溶剂选自苯,甲苯,乙醇,异丙醇,N,N-二甲基甲酰胺,N,N-二甲基吡咯烷酮,四氢呋喃,乙酸二甲酯,碳酸二甲酯,碳酸甲乙酯,碳酸甲丙酯,丙酸甲酯,丙酸乙酯,乙酸甲酯,乙酸乙酯,乙酸丙酯,碳酸乙酯,碳酸丙酯,γ-丁内酯,二甘醇二甲醚,四甘醇二甲醚,醚化合物,冠醚化合物,二甲氧基乙烷化合物,1,3-二氧戊环中的一种或者它们的组合。电解液添加剂选碳酸亚乙烯酯、乙酸乙烯酯、碳酸锂、硝酸锂中的一种或者它们的组合。
其中,隔膜为聚合物微孔膜,如聚乙烯和聚丙烯微孔膜、聚乙烯和聚丙烯膜的多层微孔膜,以及上述材料表面改性之后的薄膜,如陶瓷粉体(氧化铝、氧化硅等)涂覆在聚烯烃上的复合陶瓷隔膜。
以下以硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料为实施例进行说明:
一种硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制备方法,包括如下:
1)向装有35g左右氧化锆球磨珠的50mL氧化锆球磨罐中加入3g硅粉和10mL去离子水,然后以400r/min的转速球磨24h。向得到的浆料中加入250mL去离子水,形成硅纳米颗粒混合液;
2)将数张干燥的定性滤纸置于硅纳米颗粒混合液中,通过毛细作用,纳米颗粒浸润至碳源中,干燥,并重复浸润、干燥循环数次,使定性滤纸中保有一定量的硅纳米颗粒;
3)将保有一定量硅纳米颗粒的定性滤纸置于瓷舟中,在惰性气氛H2/Ar下以700℃高温煅烧4h后冷却,研磨后得到硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料。
一种硅纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,将上述得到的60重量份硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料与30重量份的导电剂乙炔,并用研钵研磨混合均匀,得到负极活性物质粉末;然后与250重量份的CMC(2wt%)黏合剂混合,滴加一定量的去离子水,搅拌到均匀后加入10重量份的SBR(50wt%)黏合剂,继续搅拌到均匀,制备成包括黏合剂和导电剂的负极活性物质的粉体浆料,将该粉体浆料用自动涂布机涂布在铜箔集流体上,于80℃烘箱中真空干燥10-24小时,制得电极负极片。
将该负极及金属锂片分别作为工作电极和对电极,使用Celgard隔膜和LiPF6-DMC/EMC/EC/FEC电解液在充满氩气的手套箱中组装扣式锂离子电池,然后在新威充放电仪上测试电池的性能。
材料形貌和性能表征:通过扫描电子显微镜(HITACH S4800)表征实施例材料的形貌。实施例的扣式电池充放电性能测试中充放电电流密度均设置为200mA/g(质量按硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的质量计算)充放电循环100圈,充放电截止电压区间为0.02-1.5V。
图1和2为实施例硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的SEM图,从图中可以看出,该复合材料呈不规则的块状,该形貌主要延续滤纸纤维碳化后的断裂结构,而且硅颗粒主要分布在该碳骨架中。图3为实施例所得的硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料作为负极活性物质的电池充放电循环图。从图中可以看出,在室温下,200mA/g的电流密度下充放电循环,电池容量保持在630mAh/g左右,充放电循环100圈,容量保持率高达90%,所得复合材料具有优异的循环性能。这主要归因于实施例所制备的硅纳米颗粒/碳复合材料中,硅颗粒被固定在碳骨架中,为硅在充放电循环中的体积膨胀提供了弹性缓冲的空间,维持了循环过程中结构的稳定性,不致使硅粉化从集流体上脱落而失去电化学活性。另一方面这种复合结构减小了硅与电解液的接触面积,一定程度上抑制副反应的发生。

Claims (9)
1.一种纳米颗粒/碳复合材料的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下:
1)将纳米颗粒均匀地分散在一定体积的溶剂中得到纳米颗粒混合液;
2)将碳源置于纳米颗粒混合液中,通过毛细作用,纳米颗粒浸润至碳源中,干燥,并重复浸润、干燥数次,使碳源中保有一定量的纳米颗粒;
3)将保有一定量纳米颗粒的碳源置于瓷舟中,在惰性气氛下进行高温煅烧后冷却,研磨后得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,所述纳米颗粒与碳的质量比可以通过毛细作用的次数进行控制。
3.一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,
根据权利要求1所述的方法得到纳米颗粒/碳复合材料,在所述纳米颗粒/碳复合材料中加入导电剂和黏结剂,搅拌均匀组成活性物质,涂覆在集流体上得到纳米颗粒/碳复合电极。
4.根据权利要求3所述的一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,所述纳米颗粒/碳复合电极为正极,所述纳米颗粒为用于电池正极的活性纳米颗粒,包括纳米磷酸铁锂、纳米钴酸锂或者纳米锰酸锂。
5.根据权利要求3所述的一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,所述纳米颗粒/碳复合电极为负极,所述纳米颗粒为用于电池负极的活性纳米颗粒,包括纳米硅、纳米金属氧化物或者钛酸锂。
6.根据权利要求3所述的一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,所述碳源为能进行毛细吸附,且含有众多微小孔道的纤维状结构的物质,包括碳毡、宣纸、滤纸、无纺布或者木头。
7.根据权利要求3所述的一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,所述集流体为Cu或Al箔。
8.根据权利要求3所述的一种纳米颗粒/碳复合电极的制作方法,其特征在于,所述导电剂为乙炔黑;所述粘结剂为CMC/SBR。
9.一种电池,包括正电极和负电极,所述正电极和负电极浸没在非水电解液中,并用隔膜隔开,其特征在于,所述电极采用权利要求1-8任一权利要求所述的电极。
