Description
Cleaning device. The cleaning of the floor under beds and other furniture with the known Ge devices such as fluff, etc. offers difficulty; cleaning must be done kneeling.
The purpose of the present invention is to remedy this disadvantage, and this is achieved according to the invention in that the handle of the device is provided with a hinge between its ends, which makes it easier to bend the handle and thus clean the floor under the furniture.
In the accompanying drawing, two exemplary embodiments are shown schematically; It shows: Fig. 1 shows the cleaning device in its working position, Fig. 2 shows a view, partly in section, a first embodiment, Fig. 3 shows a detail, Fig. 4 shows a view, partly in section, a second Embodiment of the joint, Fig. 5 shows a detail, partly in section.
The device shown in Figs. 1-3 is a fluff, the handle of which has a hinge between its ends. The joint be seated two parts 4, 5 which are articulated to one another by a bolt 3 and which are attached to the two stem parts 1, 2. The two parts 4, 5 have flat, opposing disks 15 BEZW. 16. The disk 15 has three notches 6, 7, 8 at an angle to one another, while the other disk is provided with a rib 9, which can be optionally set in one of the notches mentioned.
The two disks are pressed against one another by a spring 17 which rests against a nut 18 of the bolt 3, and the rib is thus held in the respective detent.
If the fluff is to be used to clean the floor below the piece of furniture B, it can be adjusted to the position according to FIG. 1 by means of strong pressure. The fluff can easily be pushed under the furniture 13.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, one part 4 is provided with a disk 28 which engages between two tabs 19, 20 of the other part 5. In part 5 there is a disk 22 which has a rib 9. The latter engages in notches of the part 4, which, as shown in Fig. 3, are arranged at an angle to each other. The rib is hold ge with a spring 24 in the respective catch. Here, too, the same can be set with respect to each other by pressure on the handle parts 1, 2. The disk 'is secured against twisting in part 5.
