Abstract
Un proceso y catalizador para mejorar la gasolina que comprende dureno (1,2,4,5-tetrametilbenceno) y pseudocumeno, el proceso comprende la hidroisomerización de dureno (1,2,4,5-tetrametilbenceno) y pseudocumeno (1,2,4-trimetilbenceno) contenidos en la gasolina en presencia de un catalizador que comprende un metal base sulfurado que es soportado sobre un portador ácido, convirtiendo de ese modo el dureno (1,2,4,5-tetrametilbenceno) a isodureno (1,2,4,5-tetrametilbenceno) y prehniteno (1,2,3,4-tetrametilbenceno) y convirtiendo el pseudocumeno (1,2,4-trimetilbenceno) a mesitileno (1,3,5-trimetilbenceno).
