Abstract

Eventos de alfalfa J-101 y J-163, y moléculas de ADN unicas para estos eventos. Métodos para detectar la presencia de esta moléculas de ADN en una muestra vegetal. Reivindicacion 5: La planta de alfalfa J-101 de la reivindicacion 4, caracterizada porque el goenoma de dicha planta de alfalfa J-101 comprende una molécula de ADN que se selecciona del grupo que consiste en la SEQ ID Ns, SEQ ID Ns 2, SEQ ID Ns 3 y SEQ ID Ns 4. Reivindicacion 10: Un método para producir una planta que tolera la aplicacion del herbicida glifosato, carcterizado porque comprende (a) cruzar por vía sexual un primer progenitor de un evento de alfalfa con tolerancia a glifosato J-101, y un segundo progenitor de una planta de alfalfa que carece de tolerancia a glifosato, produciendo así una pluralidad de plantas de la progenie; y (b) seleccionar una planta de la progenie que tolera la aplicacion de glifosato; y (c) autocruzar dicha planta de la primera progenie, produciendo así una pluralidad de plantas de la segunda progenie; y (d) seleccionar entre dichas plantas de segunda progenie aquellas plantas que presentan tolerancia a glifosato. Reivindicacion 11: Un método para detectar la presencia de un ADN que corresponde a ADN de la planta de alfalfa J-101 en una muestra, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) poner la muestra que comprende ADN en contacto con un conjunto de cebadores que, cuando se lo usa en una reaccion de amplificacion de ácidos nucleicos con ADN genomico del evento de alfalfa J-101, produce un amplicon de ADN que comprende la SEQ ID Ns 1 o SEQ ID Ns 2; y (b) realizar una reaccion de amplificacion de ácidos nucleicos, produciendo así el amplicon; y (c) detectar el amplicon. Reivindicacion 12: Un método para detectar la presencia de un ADN que corresponde a alfalfa J-101 en una muestra, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) poner la muestra que comprende ADN en contacto con una sonda, que se hibridiza bajo condiciones de hibridacion estrictas con ADN genomico del evento de alfalfa J-101 y no se hibridiza bajo condiciones de hibridacion estrictas con ADN de una planta de alfalfa control, donde dicha sonda es homologa o complementaria con SEQ ID Ns 1 o SEQ ID Ns 2; y (b) someter la muestra y la sonda a condiciones de hibridacion estrictas; y (c) detectar la hibridacion de la sonda con el ADN.
