Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un catalizador volumétrico de hidroprocesamiento. También se proporciona un proceso para preparar los catalizadores volumétricos de hidroprocesamiento. También se proporciona el uso del catalizador volumétrico en la materia prima del aceite de hidroprocesamiento. El catalizador de hidroprocesamiento tiene la fórmula (Mt)a(LU)b(SV)d(CW)e(HX)f(OY)g (NZ)h, en donde M es al menos un metal del grupo VIB; el metal promotor L es opcional, y si está presente, L es al menos un metal no noble del grupo VIII; t, u, v, w, x, y, z que representan la carga total para cada uno de los componentes (M, L, S, C, H, O y N, respectivamente); ta+ub+vd+we+xf+yg+zh=0; b es > = 0; y 0 = < b/a = < 5, (a + 0.5b) < = d < = (5a + 2b), 0 < = e < = ll (a + b), 0 < = f < = 7(a + b), 0 < = g < = 5(a + b), 0 < = h < = 0.5(a + b). El catalizador tiene una configuración de difracción del polvo por rayos X con al menos un pico amplio en cualquiera de los ángulos de Bragg: 8 a 18°, 32 a 40° y 55 a 65° (desde 0 hasta 70° de la escala de 20). En una modalidad, el catalizador es preparado sulfurizando al menos un compuesto de un metal del grupo VIB y opcionalmente al menos un compuesto de un metal del grupo VIII con un agente de sulfurización que forma un precursor del catalizador; y mezclas el precursor del catalizador con un compuesto de hidrocarburos para formar la composición catalizadora de hidroprocesamiento.
