Abstract

Although most work with diode laser arrays has concentrated on power output and spatial mode control, we report here measurements of the temporal coherence of a laser array in an external cavity. A compact extended cavity resonator comprised of Selfoc lenses generated single-frequency output with a 389-kHz linewidth.
