"Seemingly unworldly, Father Brown is a Catholic priest with the felicity to be present at mysterious murders and thefts. And he knows the nature of Man - a priest hears many confessions. In these twelve stories, Father Brown confronts the great thief Flambeau, assists the detective Valentin, and uses his own deductive skills in solving crime."--Publisher description.
