Open Knowledge in Australia

Open Knowledge in Australia

Australia has been active in the Open Knowledge Network since 2011, and is spreading rapidly throughout the country, thanks to their initiation of a Local Ambassadors scheme.

Their network is incredibly broad and includes organisations and individuals working on a range of topics, from open government, to open source tech, data journalism and more broadly open data, and the range of events they have held across Australia is equally as broad ranging.
