for me, it's somewhere on a scale between not caring at all and absolutely despising them. I definitely have no love for perversion as a character trait.
it really comes down to the individual characters and how well they are written. yes, Roshi is a pervert, and him asking to see panties or touch some boobs is in itself a form of harrassment, but the fact he is asking for permission also shows that he has some respect for women, which is something that can't be said about many other perverted old man in anime. Roshi is also much more than just that one aspect of his character.
same with a character like Rudeus Greyrat. undeniably a pervert through and through and to the very end, but it is also founded in his life experience. seeing as the things he does early in his life are likely a result of desensitization and a skewed morality, after 20 years of nothing but watching p**n and playing eroge, with absolutely zero interaction with real women, it almost feels like a meta-commentary. but he is also a character that learns and grows. he is much more than just a pervert.
but then you have characters that are essentially just that: perverts, harrassers, assaulters. everybody hates Mineta because he is a pervert with zero respect for women and not much more. a pure joke character who solely exists for a laugh, except most of the time it's really not that funny. his handful of heroic moments feel like feeble attempts at justifying his existens, but it just doesn't work.
even worse than all of that though is when authors peddle the concept of all non-heteros being perverts. like that one character in OPM who was jailed for SA, but for some reason that's played off as a joke because "haha, that buff dude's gay! :D". or all the lesbian characters that randomly start groping their girl friends breasts whenever they can but "it's fine because they are both girls".
with all that said, it's not like I care all that much personally. at most, I might be annoyed but then quickly move on with my life. it's fiction, there is no point in getting angry at something that did not happen done by someone who doesn't exist. it's more about the message it sends. as long as the author makes it clear that harrassment and assault are wrong, then they can do whatever they want.
