Truly a Jack of all Trades anime IMO. Brilliant characters and interactions, interesting story and setting, drama and humor, amazing animation, etc. Both arcs were very engaging also, 10/10 for me.

I like the Railgun Series a lot. Just watched it over the last week. The last arc in this season was realy meh imo. Did not like the dream ranker plot, but the side story like getting the bust upper were quite funny to watch.
I hope the next season will not take so long.
Maybe sometime in the future Mental Out will get an anime too.

Dang, so that's it. Goodbye raildex adaptions- forever? Wish it could've give me some post-anime depression but while a good chunk of it was straight up fire, an even bigger chunk was just boring bs- I'm referring to ALL of railgun/index here, as of this season of railgun T, it was 90% fun- better than anything that came before which was mostly boring to me, imho.

Sister's arc from railgun S is still the best part of this whole universe, but what railgun T did better was make the following arc decent at the least unlike railgun s which had the silent party arc which I did not give a crap for. Railgun T as a whole is better than Railgun S, but I still like the sisters arc better than both the daihasei festival and dream ranker arc (that's what it's called, right? dream ranker?).

7.5/10. Pretty dang good but didn't blow me away. Would've gotten the 8/10 if accelerator dropped by to play LOL

Overall railgun T did me a solid, was not bored for 90% of the time which is an achievement when usually I'd tend to skip over a lot of parts in index. I trust this was satisfying enough for you true hardcore index fans, and I'm going to say I'm mostly satisfied as well. That's it, now finally time to say goodbye because I don't think I'm dying that much to want to read the light novels

HOWEVER I haven't watched index III yet- question is, do I want to.... maybe?

I wasn't too sure how much I'd enjoy this season since I've always liked the Index season a bit more.
But then we had Index III and I'll just say that that was a massive disappointment.

But damn this season had it all!
Railgun has always been a bit more SOL with some serious stuff here and there and this season wasn't much different.
The serious stuff however was absolutely superb, both arcs had me at the edge of my seat and were really interesting too.
The animation / art was as good as it can be too, the fights were a blast to behold.

I just have to give this a 10/10 and an awesome surprise after seeing Index III.
Was just happy watching this season the entire time.

What a disappointment this season turned out to be in the rewatch. Daihasei was alright, had some good episodes and a solid finish with the Dolly-Misaki-Mitori reunion but was stretched out too long for its own good that some parts were boring. And then this Dream Ranker arc while having some neat ideas and a couple of good little side arcs was a massive clusterfuck that never harmonized well together, and had a boss battle that while looked sick, was power scaling to its worst (I know she is a Level 5 but even that kind of fight was too much for me to handle, especially considering this fight isn't the last of the entire series and the manga is still ongoing). Plus, the concepts were underutilized for me too and just felt like the arc turned to a Naruto battle with the actual science just useless to understand. Definite turn off. So yeah, have to give it the same rating as season 1. Sisters Arc is an anomaly of greatness this show produced, rest everything is average with a variety of issues in various aspects at different times.

Eh, soul is questionable concept to begin with.. It is only a theory soul exists in the first place.. So I'm not too sure, why you're so sure you don't have something, what is a question, if it exists in the first place..
Interesting talk between Dopelganger and Kuriba Ryouko in her dream.. More light on Kuriba's personality and what she did overall..
Overall impressions about season.. Honestly, it felt more like Index season, rather than Railgun season.. It seems that Railgun will be going path of more major stories, and less slice of life.. There were episodes, where there were no slice of life at all, and for many episodes in a row it was like so, anime making some arc.. I don't know, how I feel about it.. It was easy to watch season.. But also with what Index III did, killing some characters - I don't know, how much invested I can get into certain characters, or be interested in them.. I certainly think that was the wrong move.. And because of this - of how I am more reluctant to enjoy some of the characters, if you'll just kill them off..
For now - not a bad season.. But also show, both Index and Railgun, seem to be getting more into serious territory and trying to become serious anime.. I don't like this tendency, I'd enjoy more just seeing characters doing whatever, instead of some experiments being conducted, some underground groups committing some crimes, or stuff.. It's an alright content.. But focus on these things - really taking focus from slice of life.. Slice of life, which both Index and Railgun can provide, really.. But that's personal preferences, of course..
Overall, I still will want to finish it on a hopeful note, that I hope that whatever we'll get in the future - good old characters will still be here, and we'll get even more about them..

Took mo a long time to finish this. But it was fun to watch.

Love the ending. Watching the 3rd season is so nostalgic as it reminds me of the first railgun anime I've watched over 10 year ago. And can't help but remember my life back then.

Gonna miss the girls again. Hopefully it won't be too long till there's a new season. And also I'm hoping for sequel of Index as well despite not being well received by the fans.

It was a fun but nostalgic ride.

So the fight didn't take that much longer and then it was mostly a wrap-up episode. Quite a good ending though, I liked how it turned out on the end.

There was a lot about this season that I did not like, but overall it was a good ride. Definitely the best season of the franchise overall, mostly due to the introduction of Shokuho and Sugiiate. Even though the latter only appeared very briefly, but that was enough to make him the best male character in the show for me. I really did not like Shokuho at first, but she really grew on me over time. Good thing this came out after Index 3 (which is a really bad show imo), so I can end this franchise on a high note. 7/10

Nice ending for an amazing season! Expected to be mostly filler, they always show off all the characters in the end.

Kuroko meeting Misaki and that tease for her working for Misaki ... Love their reactions and Uiharu with Saten meeting Junko =/

Pretty cute that they made Kongou meet 10032, now she is Ich-chan!

The scavenger interaction are the best!

Dolly slowly going out and enjoying new stuff. Hope to see more!

Overall 9,5/10 ronding to 10 =/ Really love the first half and was waitiing this arc to be animated for such a long time! The scene with 5.1 animated was amazing! Also the Daihaseisai folk dance with Saten and Uiharu wingmaning! The dragon fight could've been a bit better but i still liked it very much.

Hoping for F season, next arc is prety cool and funny, but also pretty questionable.

Good conclusion and ending for the third season. First half was really great to experience. All the fight scenes were good. The second half was pretty much a lower plot than the first but the doppleganger case was still interesting. Looking forward to more Toaru series in the future. Really enjoyed this journey.

From chapter 97 or 97.5, the next arc is pretty cool, but has some questionable stuff. The current arc is Mikoto's first year in Tokiwadai.

I wish Misaka's rage and anguish would have lasted longer, but this season had extraordinarily epic moments. 8/10.

Disregarding the fact that Index is mediocre for being a flawed poor adaption produced by a terrible director...
Railgun is truly great.

From the action, to the drama, and the character's bonds. It is awesome.

Some side relationships are left anticlimacting which was disappointing to me. Particularily Misaka and Misaki Shokuhou not having a greater friendship or sharing more of their sentiments for both relating to the Sisters, including Misaka never meeting Dolly. Unless it happens later, then I may be fulfilled on that end, but I find it odd that they barely spoke of her and never met.
Frenda not reuniting with Saten was a little disappointing, so I'm curious what their next meeting would be like and when they'll realize she's friends with Misaka.
Aside from that, flaw-wise, I wonder if there's more to the Gunha character that wasn't shown in the anime compared to the manga of Index novels.

Regardless,
Railgun continues to be great in its story telling of mostly revolving around Misaka through the Sisters from villains craving for power/control to dominate the world one way or another.
With fairly complex characters, including the villains and intriguing personalities, the interactions are entertaining and never really dull.

The best is the bond of friendship or how the villains evolve.
Even though the thrill of drama for me was somewhat shorter than what I would have liked, seeing Kongou and her friends fight against the threat to help each other was powerful.
Misaka's rage for revenge was great, even though I was disapppointed that she didn't go mad and hurt the villains, but from her character and the circumstance, it was logical of her to not injure people who aren't the true villains.

Aside from Kongou and her friends shining with entertaining resolve, Misaka being the temporary Level 6 victim was amazing.
Her sudden god-like power and mindlessness while being controlled was awesome. Gunha's mindset of "guts" was funny, but as simple and brief as he was, his ability and fight was extremely entertaining.
I hate Touma in Index, but I like him as the romantic interest alone for Misaka in Railgun. His selflessness to save anyone, in this case Misaka, a friend he cares about, and to save her again was sweet.
... Lore-wise of the Index novels and the flawed anime, I'm currently completely unaware of what exactly his power is, so that dragon spirit coming out of his dismembered right arm was odd and baffling, but I guess there's probably a good explanation, even though it feels very out of place not knowing any hint of it before the dragon phenomenon came out.

The mystery and misunderstanding of who weren't the villains vs the actual villains was decent but fairly interesting, but
Misaka's involvment from the prototype clone of Misaka, Dolly is a cool plot. Dolly's backstory with Mitori and Misaki is good. Both manipulated subjects to evolve as espers like Dolly, to then secretly manipulate the organization and eventually save Dolly was beautiful.

Action-wise, Misaka's display of power as a pseudo Level 6, and her fight against Doppleganger was astounding.
The style in how they portrayed her abilities and her new feats of power overall was gorgeous.
... Misaka's determination to protect her friends and the sisters is really charming. As well as her friends doing their best in their own way to help. From Kuroko shining again, Uiharu, Saten, Kongou and her friends. Awesome.

The last arc was pretty cool too. I think most of the characters could of had a bit more depth to better grasp their goals, but well done nonetheless.
Ryouko and Doppleganger were great in the end. The intent to wish suicide for being a soulless cyborg, kill the original to avoid being rebuilt, to then be defeated by Misaka, get her organ tranplanted into Ryouko and live subsconsciously into her through dreams, helping Ryouko in how to save her dying mother which is what she's been researching for years. Awesome.

Good ending. It was a decent season. They animated some lovely fights and the mini arcs were OK. Still all in all, I think it was lacking some oomf with a main plot tie in which is the general issue with all the index/railgun spinoffs.

Feel like decent odds e get another adaptation in a year or two.

what a great season again. so sad that railgun is over, ive got this empty feeling again. no idea what the possibility of a 4th season is but ill try to not have any expections. the fate of the black and white haired girl is quite hilarious and loved the scene with misaka and 10032 there with misaka proudly introducing 10032 as her sister. also was really fond of the developement of the scavengers leader liking misaka and becoming a true gekotaer. and also dolly getting to see the "ocean" was wonderful too sadly no mention of last order.
i really hate this empty feeling makes me want to read the manga to get more but that would probably mean that id have to start reading index too to fully understand everything but the magic side doesnt interest me at all (plus the fact its a ln), i dont really care for the characters and the religion stuff flies over my head. i also as a filthy anime only dont know if ill feel the same reading railgun than watching it. i want to hear the characters too. guess ill have to force myself to watch index iii to the end.

if anyone read that im sorry :D writing is not one of my strenghts its just what came out of my head

So it turns out the doppelganger wasn't actually evil in the end, in fact everything she did was for the greater good. Predictable but fine. The rest of the episode though is where I had fun. Not just Misaki teasing Kuroko about them becoming a thing but the interaction of Kongou with sister was hilarious as well. Though don't call each other by those names:)

First arc was the best railgun arc of those we've had so far but to be honest this second arc, Dream ranker.. I liked the humor but not much of the actual context of this arc. But hey I liked how they gave more screentime to some of the characters, whom no one would've cared about otherwise.

Over with the franchise, but I know we'll get more of the new content. Just a matter of time honestly. Though in the meantime I hope I could get into the novels and the railgun manga there is. As the adaptation may not be upto the mark sometimes but I guess the source is.

8/10.

So Doppelganger has a deathwish. However, since she has self-preservation programmed into her, she can't harm herself while at the same time, she also has to protect herself and fight back. She needed someone like Misaka to mercy kill her. Interesting twist.

As a being made up of flesh & blood with a soul, I envy her and wish to trade places with Doppelganger. I think that organs, tissue, and blood are disgusting. It's one of the reasons I contemplate suicide. I want to get out of this meatbag!

I am 100% sure that if a machine gains sentience in the future. It will be happy to function, and it will agree that it's superior to meatbags since being made up of machine components makes it very strong, nigh immortal, and can do anything a meatbag can only dream about.

Sci-fi shows really like to demonize transhumanism.
"Little Seike," dang. I thought he was a tomboy/lesbian. He is indeed a trap. Noooo!
The scene of Kongou talking to 10032 was funny!
