Such as Proxy One, the Boomerang rocket, the methane gas explosions destroying 85% of the world and the existence of 300 Proxy. Better than the traditional flashback episode anyway and the host used the game as an unconventional way to kill Vincent I assume.
yep it was very informational
but mostly just a "what the hell was i watching?". hopefully the next episodes makes this more better explained. was the host a proxy and confusing them like in the last episode?
very interesting though
This show has been so boring for me so far. So this episode was just what I needed. I feel quite refreshed, like I am ready to go through another eight episodes of boredom.
My first impression was WTF???!!! But it turned out to be quite informative :0
Was pretty fun though as a change of pace...this show does need a bit more humor or something like that without being dull the whole time :PP

Kinda reminds me of the weird baseball episode in Champloo. Wasn't really a filler was a battle with a proxy like that last one a mind battle, but was strange. I may just be a nerd but what bugged me the most was how they said 100's of billions of years after the big bang, when the universe is only 14 billion years old.
I was like "but... but... what happened here?" after finishing this episode. Then I realized it was giving away hints to the viewer. I'm a bit slow-paced, so I had to rewatch it in order to understand what the heck just happened (I hadn't realized it was another Proxy mind-game, and I didn't get all of the pieces of information at first). When you get it, it turns out to be a brilliant way of providing us some backstory information. Pretty darn good episode!

It explains what happened to Earth, that 85% of the population died, that humans create 300 proxies to revive Earth, that proxies will no longer be necessary when the earth recovers, etc...
The host was actually a Proxy, this becames clear in the question about RA:
Ra, an Egyptian god said to have the same sacred eyes as WE DO (refering to Vincent and himself), is the god of what?
Every proxy we saw until now had some kind of lightning in their eyes.
I can't say I like the episode, I would prefer if they gave us this info some other way but it is not a filler.
Oh wow, I totally didn't get that the host was a proxy!!! Makes so much sense now! So I guess they're just meeting lots of proxies and...killing them? o_O I still don't like the format of this episode though, even if it's pretty creative. Vincent was really funny though ^^
Hmmm... I've really enjoyed the way this show has spread abstract plot hints throughout so far, but this was a little over the top and out of nowhere for me. I guess it just kinda shocked me with the sudden change of pace.

Ah? What the hell are you talking about? They NEVER said that:
I also checked the dubbed version and it also says the same thing. I believe when you were watching this episode in your mind you mixed that scene with this one:
So somehow after combining the two figures in your mind you got the "100's of billions of years" figure. Please, next time double check before making accusations since as we've witnessed, your memory is REALLY unreliable.
I don't know if this episode is madness, stupidity or genius, but it gives a lot of background information we've been missing about this world. It's quite obvious that whoever is behind the show (and it's transmission) is a Proxy too, and a powerful one at that.
I don't really think comedy fits into this show but I got to admit I found the whole bit describing Re'L as older than she looked and frowning all the time was pretty funny.

My guess is that proxy one was the creator of the show, 300 proxies, oh wow.
Some interesting, though it was a weird way to go about telling us lol, was funny though i did enjoy it somewhat xD really random, i hope we can get back to regular story telling now and actually advancing the plot properly, hope there isn't any more things like this.
Does anyone else need a doctor to confirm that someone without a head is dead?
Well this was a really random episode, I have to agree with some others that it really didn't fit this anime at all and felt really out of place. But I still enjoyed it and hey it gave us some pretty interesting information, so I guess I can't complain to much.
