Izure Saikyou no Renkinjutsushi?

A salaryman is surprised to find himself summoned to another world by accident. With no way of returning to Earth, he receives the name Takumi Iruma, a different younger body, magic powers, and a fresh start in an unfamiliar land. To preserve his quiet life, Takumi settles in a local village and assumes the job of an alchemist, allowing him to create almost anything he desires. Making the most of his time, he explores his new abilities and even tames an unlikely pet.

However, Takumi decides to move on to a big city in hopes of improving his alchemy skills and business. As he keeps learning about his profession and gaining new connections, Takumi might just be able to become the greatest alchemist of all time.

although a standard isekai with an overpower main character the series is great. Takumi your average MC that just what the easy laid back life but like a lot of these MC his cheat skill are just too powerful and his lack the understanding of what is common so he draws the attention of merchants, nobles and others it also a harem anime series with the haremettes start off as slave to the MC although he very uncomfortable with slavery and in the kingdom the goddess dropped him in it more like indentured servitude

the art style if good and animation a ... little subpar and the voice acting (english dub) us ok

if you like death march to the parallel world rhapsody, by the grace of the gods or The Great Cleric this series maybe worth a watch

Mixed Feelings

This anime was alright, the best part about it would probably be seeing what the main character would come up with and the creative ways he helped the world with his alchemy, but the cliches that were sprinkled in the anime had me bored a lot of time. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind cliches, but when they are so heavily focused on it it gets pretty old after a while and could definitely turn you away from this anime if you don't like that. The characters that accompany the main character were all female and it turned into a harem-esk dynamic between all ... of them which is way overdone. They became relentlessly positive towards the main character and were very one dimensional because of it.

Characters aside, the world building in this anime is probably it's best quality, it's fun seeing how he helps the world and his dynamic between the goddess and the way it affects the world. Would give 6.5 if I could. I might not watch a second season if it gets one but maybe if it's seems like the anime leans into the world building in the right ways and has an interesting story line. Let me know if anyone reading this has read the manga or light novel, I'm interesting to know your take on it!

I'm not rating this negatively because it's a "generic Isekai." Those are fine, and honestly, most are actually enjoyable.

I'm rating this anime negatively because the main plot of the series starts around 9 episodes in.

I would have thought that maybe this anime only covered the first Light Novel volume or two, and I won't fault stories that try and adapt as much as they can in a novel.

This anime actually covers over seven Light Novel volumes.

Now, from looking over the synopsis alone, I can tell they likely skipped some content, but in a story where you want to see the main premise of time travel ... work, the most interesting parts ends before it really starts.

What makes this Isekai unique is that the hero was summoned by a Goddess years before a kingdom summoned its heroes. This is because that Kingdom has less than great intentions. This leaves the anime to dedicate most of its episodes to world-building and saving heroines. The heroines are more fleshed-out than some other Isekai anime, as they have attempts at more complex backstories, but their personalities drop down when they join Takumi.

Takumi is probably the main reason you would watch this anime, that and if you really like the concept of alchemy magic, it's fun to watch him create modern inventions in this world, but they just don't do that much with the cool concepts they DO have.

If I can compliment some parts, I would say the character design of the characters are nice, they're just "good" to look at, Takumi's design is pretty refreshing actually.

It wasn't the worst thing I've ever watched, but it's hard to suggest something that starts the main story at the end of the series, while the previous world-building could have honestly been done in like 6 episodes. They keep teasing the hero summoning throughout the anime also, so when you're left with no conclusion, there isn't really any point watching this compared to reading it.

I imagine for Light Novel readers, this was a lot more enjoyable, and I'm sure the Light Novel is fine, but I would suggest just reading this series if it interests you.
