Vintage Gold Evening Bag, Purse Handbag

"An eye-catching vintage evening bag in shimmering gold! Likely from the late 1930s/early 1940s. The tops of the pleats show wear at the edge of the gathers. It is lined in a pale tawny satin with internal pockets. Interior is clean, but does have a few small snags. Interior tag for \"Ed B. Robinson\". Chain strap is tarnished. Note that the photos show the bag stuffed with tissue. There are a few light horizontal fold in the gold fabric from improper storage (see photos.)"
