Have any of you noticed wide leg jeans coming back in style? When I had my epic clothing try-on day the other week, I also tried on this pair of jeans at the suggestion of one of the shop girls. I was thinking I probably wouldn’t like them but as soon as I put them on I was in love. This is the comfiest pair of denim ever! I’m telling you guys, they’re amazing! I tried the jeans on with this sweater and loved it, but also think it’s super cute with a plain tee tucked in. Gosh, I love a high-waisted fit! If you’re not sure about them, here’s my tip for styling wide leg jeans.

The shop girl also recommended this style if I wanted something less flared, but I didn’t like the fit on me. It was a little too fitted through my thighs so I didn’t find them that flattering, but I could see how they’d look amazing on someone else!

My trick for styling wide leg jeans is to play with the proportions. A tighter top on top would look great, or even a crop top if you’re brave enough. For me, I liked that this button-up shirt had the off-the-shoulder thing going on. You show a little skin, but it’s not as dramatic as a midrift reveal. I also liked the idea of knotting the top to highlight the high-waisted style. My typical rule would be not to go with anything too baggy on top, although, I will say I loved how this sweater looked with the jeans. You can see them together in this post. Maybe it’s because it lends itself to a specific style. It has a little bit of a laid-back 70s feel when paired together. What do you think? Are you a fan of the style of pants? Not sure? Even if you don’t get a pair, I’d recommend trying them on because I have a feeling they’ll surprise you!

Have a great day everyone. Thanks for stopping by!
