പാകിസ്ഥാനിലെ കോട് ലോക്പഥ് ജയിലിൽ വധശിക്ഷ്യ്ക്ക് വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ട് തടവിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനായിരുന്നു സരബ്ജിത് സിങ് (1963/1964-മേയ് 2, 2013)[3] 1990ൽ ലാഹോറിലും ഫൈസലാബാദിലും നടന്ന ബോംബ് സ്ഫോടനങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കുണ്ടെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ചാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.[4][5] പാകിസ്ഥാൻ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ മൻജിത് സിങ് എന്നാണ് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത്.[6]
ജയിലിൽ സഹതടവുകാരുടെ മർദ്ദനത്തിന് വിധേയനായ സരബ്ജിത് സിങ് 2013 മേയ് 2-ന് ലാഹോറിലെ ജിന്ന ആശുപത്രിയിൽ വെച്ച് മരിച്ചു.[3]
