Hello, I am MJL.
I have no clue what to write here. I am a college student and politician in real life. I contribute to Wikimedia projects often enough, but I mostly help out at English Wikisource now. I don't speak a lot of languages other than English (besides a bit of Spanish), but eventually I hope to learn Icelandic, Arabic, and Dutch.
It's probably worth mentioning that I have Major Depression. That condition can alter my ability to edit sometimes, but generally I only find it is a problem during periods of high stress. Therefore, I ask you try to be understanding with me when possible. When I make a mistake, just let me know. I will rectify it to the best of my ability!
I am mostly interested in Connecticut-related topics. I like government, public policy, and history as well! As a contributor, I hope to promote Wikimedia in real life as a legitimate knowledge-sharing platform. I am not, however, trying to collect hats or advance a personal agenda. If there is a tool I seem to need, someone else will probably ask me about it. If a position is open, I will fill it as a last resort. I do too much in real life to make this another huge commitment. All I want is to see the projects all improve. I also really just like helping other people out.
