R&B was originated in the 1940’s by African-Americans. The genre was a mixture of “ urbane, rocking, jazz based music with many insistent beats. As R&B move forward to a new era, there are several talented new artists just to name a few like HER, Summer Walker, Trey Songz, and Chris Brown. These artists have produced hits and music videos to their type of audiences to let them know that they will carry on that flaming torch of “ The Legacy of R&B”.
