Ito ay isang mahalagang bahagi ng kultura ng bansa, nagdadala ng mga tunog na bumabalot sa kasaysayan, damdamin, at puso ng mga mamamayang Pilipino. Sa paksang ito, tuklasin natin ang kahulugan, kasaysayan, at kahalagahan ng OPM sa ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan.

Kahulugan ng OPM:

Ang Original Pilipino Music o OPM ay mas higit pa kaysa sa isang genre ng musika; ito’y isang tibok ng puso ng mga Pilipino na bumabalot sa sariling melodiya, awit, at salita.
