Saw it on one home machine (XP SP2) under the control of teenagers, not on 
50 similar machines at the office.  That supports the current theory that 
certain malware is incompatible with the patch.

I fixed it with a repair install of XP SP2.  (I was unable to test the 
uninstall the patch from the recovery console method because I did not have 
the Administrator password for the teenagers' machine and my usual tool for 
blanking it out did not work.)

If you are seeing this in your testing PLEASE let me know, Microsoft is
not getting any calls on this and we're trying to get the consumer
machines that there are some reports on to get in for investigation.

So if you have a dead body in testing, please holler.
