Deep Face & Body Cleansing Gel for Blemish-Prone Skin CeraVe

My partner and I have been using this gel, and before this, we used an intensive cleansing one since we both have oily skin. We love CeraVe products because they come in large quantities, are relatively affordable, and very effective. This particular gel really helps dry out breakouts, and when used with the cream, it gives excellent results without needing extra products. For us, it doesn’t cause any irritation and cleanses the skin well.

I left a review for a retinol serum before, and now I'll leave one for this gel. Ladies, it cleanses thoroughly, leaving your skin squeaky clean. It does dry the skin a bit, but I always apply the retinol serum from the same brand afterward. This duo is a real game-changer!

When purchasing multiple units of this brand (Cerave), a GIFT is offered! - a set of daily dermatological care for the face and body, sample sizes as I understood. So, not only were they clearly opened (unclear when), but also half of these products were "leaked", just like that. So don't count on this "gift" too much.

I don't understand why they offer it then, it would be better to send the product without it altogether. It's a pity that I only decided to check the contents after paying at the post office.

I have previously used more expensive professional products, but none of them had this kind of effect. This gel is unbelievably great. The only downside is that the scent is a bit specific, reminiscent of household soap, and it lathers quite strongly.

When I wash my face, I leave it on for a minute to let the salicylic acid work its magic. I chose this gel based on the reviews, hoping for the miracle that many experienced here. But unfortunately, that didn't happen :( I'm always afraid to try something new in terms of skincare, so I first tried using the gel on problem areas of my body. The result didn't take long to show: after three applications, my skin reacted with new breakouts. I already had products with acids in my skincare routine, and I didn't experience such a reaction to them. Despite my fear and risk, I tried using the gel on specific areas of my face - the result was the same. Isolated, but quite unpleasant breakouts, even some cystic acne. It's such a pity that such a versatile product that suits almost everyone couldn't save my skin :( It's just sitting lonely on the shelf in my bathroom.

This is my favorite face wash from CeraVe for problematic skin. I use it to wash my face, back, and shoulders. Unlike the green one, it foams very well and completely removes makeup, in case you forget to remove it with micellar water or oil. It also helps dry out breakouts. It is not recommended for oily or combination skin, but it is great for dry skin.
