Squirt Bottle
The Squirt Bottle (Japanese: ゼニガメじょうろ Zenigame Watering Can), formatted as SquirtBottle prior to Generation VI, is a Key Item introduced in Generation II. It is a watering can fashioned after a Squirtle.

In Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver, it allows the player to water a Sudowoodo posing as a tree that is blocking the path on Route 36, prompting a battle with the wild Pokémon. After completing the battle, the Sudowoodo no longer obstructs the path to Ecruteak City.
Additionally, in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Squirt Bottle is used to water Berry plants grown in the Berry Pots.

Pokémon the Series
Prior to Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Squirt Bottles in Pokémon the Series were depicted with legs, unlike in the games.
Pokémon the Series: Gold and Silver
James used a Squirt Bottle on a wild Sudowoodo in Type Casting, thinking that it was a Grass type.
Another Squirt Bottle appeared in Johto Photo Finish, where Mimey was seen watering the plants in the Ketchum residence.
Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire
A Squirt Bottle belonging to Miranda appeared in The Princess and the Togepi, and was used to water her garden.
Pokémon Journeys: The Series
In The Road Most Traveled!, Delia used a Squirt Bottle to water her flowers.

- A watering can resembling a Squirt Bottle was distributed as part of the Pokémon Center's "Grassy Gardening" merchandise collection in Japan. Other items in the collection depict a Pikachu holding a Squirt Bottle.[1]
