Route 114 (Japanese: 114番道路 Route 114) is a route in northwestern Hoenn, connecting Fallarbor Town and Meteor Falls.
Route description
Route 114 begins with a path leading west out of Fallarbor Town, passing the Fossil Maniac's house and several small ponds. A Fisherman stands on the pond's edge, ready to challenge Trainers. Past him, near the large rock formation, is a man and his Poochyena, who, if the player speaks to him, will give out TM05 (Roar). The rock formation behind him has several things, as well, up the waterfall, including one of the many possible entrances to Terra Cave in Pokémon Emerald.
Continuing, the route turns south, where a bridge will take Trainers across a large lake created by the waterfall, in which is an island with one of the many opportunities to make a Secret Base. It is here where the scenery changes, once more becoming lush and green, just before the rocky landscape of Meteor Falls' exterior is reached. On the southeastern shore of the lake is where Lanette lives, as well. Here is where many Trainers reside, all of different classes. There are PokéManiacs, Kindlers, and of course, as always in the mountains, Hikers. Following the path up to the entrance of Meteor Falls will as well take Trainers past many opportunities to make a Secret Base.

Stone seller
In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, after defeating or capturing Groudon/Kyogre, an old man will appear southeast of the Route 114 sign. He sells stones he has collected at the riverside. Two of the five stones the man will sell are the Mega Stones for the Hoenn first partner Pokémon not chosen by the player, while the remaining three are expensive Hard Stones. He does not name the Mega Stones directly, but they are all named and described with an appropriate elemental theme, while the Hard Stones are named with an emotional theme.
