Abstract

Industry 4.0 is increasingly demanding the availability, reliability of production systems and the safety of the working environment. One of the levers to achieve these goals is to develop intelligent and autonomous control and monitoring systems. In this context, the present work consists in developing and implementing a smart and automatic solution allowing a remote control of a pumping system. This solution makes it possible to control and detect online anomalies, to identify and analyze their causes for an adequate decision-making. The suggested solution is oriented towards a multipurpose pumping system with the advantage of being controlled locally or remotely controlled, either by an electronics board or by an industrial automation platform. In fact, the control algorithms are integrated into the STM32 microcontroller unit whose resulting control parameters are optimized and developed in a PROFINET industrial network and then connected to a Web server by a solution comprising a SIMATIC programmable logic controller S7-1200, an operator panel KTP-700 and a SINAMICS frequency converter.
