Rob Dyson (FutureSoundsFM) L'Avenue returns with a glorious denouement (of sorts) to 'Riviera' (2022) and 'Azure' (2021). This EP features the talent of Brazilian singer, Josh Paulino - who subtly channels Scritti Politti's Green Gartside on the sublime 'Kayla' - and lends his hushed tones to the titular track (with Phoebe Carter perfectly accompanying). Elsewhere, instrumentals like 'When the Sea Glistens' couldn't be more evocative of their title; and we're right there; laying on a yacht, drenched in 80s golden sunsets. Favorite track: When the Sea Glistens.

Wasim Mogul Blimey! This is a FABULOUS EP. Been driving around listening to the MiniDisk today ...3 times on repeat in the car and it's on now again at home.
Perfect for when it's nice and warm and you want to switch your mind off and be transported or chill out.
